We absolutely love this place! Our 2 German shepherds get to play all day, use up their energy, and be socialized. The staff really cares and treats all of the animals like his own! Their also amazing at working with animals who need a little love or are a difficult temperament. We recommend this place to everyone.

This place is fantastic! Deb’s is the best doggie day care that our little one not only prefers, but enjoys daily! Athena, our Shiba Inu, comes home happy, relaxed, and ready to sleep at the end of the day. After being recommended by a friend of ours, we would not choose another doggie day care if we had a choice! Prices are great for the excellent services provided and everyone at Deb’s is friendly and knows our little one. Grooming, boarding, and other services have all been extraordinary! Out little one is happy so we are happy! What a great combination!

Great service and dog loved the ‘play time’! Not your ordinary kennel as they allow dogs to socialize with other friendly dogs. Don’t expect this to be some sort of LA Style Pooch Pampering kennel… but great in that my dog loves coming here.
The play areas allow the pets to have fun and not be stuck in a kennel all the time. Further, it is nice that they get to play with like-​sized pets and be very social.

I dropped my healthy dog off at Deb’s Riverview Kennel on a Friday. When I picked him up three days later, he couldn’t walk upstairs, he had a fever, and vomiting. Deb’s staff at the front desk said they didn’t notice anything wrong. Deb called me to tell me my dog was just tired from playing and to give it two days. Fortunately I took the dog to the vet, where he needed a full week’s worth of antibiotics to recover. Deb insisted that the dog ate well while he was there and had a good visit. (He lost EIGHT pounds in three days there, you know, from eating well. Right.). If diseases do occasionally spread in kennels and this was an innocent situation, then apologize to me, refund my money or at the very least, show or tell me the steps you took as the owner responsible to correct the problem. My vet told me he treated several other dogs that same week. All had stayed at Deb’s.
When I let Deb’s know about how sick my dog was, I never heard back from her.
I wish there was better recourse for customers like me whose dog was made viciously ill.
I will never take my dog back there. He had been healthy prior to this visit and after that visit for a time it seemed like he wasn’t going to make it.
We are a military family so I wanted to post this bad experience we had, especially as a heads-​up to military families moving to Leavenworth, but also to anyone who is concerned about the well-​being of their kenneled pet. I feel lucky that my dog is still with us. In my opinion and based on my experience at Deb’s, Deb’s Riverview Kennel is not a good choice for kenneling one’s dog.
