POM MRI & Imaging

Besides being kept waiting for over an hour for my scheduled appointment due to the technician arriving late, I was met with a surly and condescending attitude when I tried to sort out a problem with my blood test. Instead of someone emerging from the office (where the front desk staff were having their dinner break and could not be bothered to get up to speak to me personally) it was left to the tardy technician to explain. Her surly demeanor was the final straw and I subsequently cancelled the four remaining MRIs I was due to have at POM. I have contacted POM’s main office about what happened and still have not received a response. As others have pointed out about this facility, they do not seem to care one bit about customer service or patient care. I will never use them again.

I made an appointment for a CT with the Plantation location. for a Friday. Arrived– and sat for 40 minutes which approx. 5 women stood around giggling. At the 40 minute Mark and after they had collected my co=pay, I heard some say the CT machine was down. I went to desk and asked to reschedule. I was then asked why and they didn’t know yet what was wrong with the machine yet. I told her I did not care to sit around for hours while they figured it out. Appointment was made for the following Monday. I called that am and was told machine was still down and rescheduled for Wednesday. Was told results should be with my doctor in 3 hours. Imagine when I went to my doctor on the following Monday to find that they were never sent. Will NEVER go there again and will tell everyone I know not to.

Good customer service is very important, and when businesses choose to display the opposite they oftentimes are saying «I have too many customers to care about losing one business». Big mistake! Word of mouth is a powerful tool. I find POM MRI Plantations sloppy… and it’s customer service atrocious. I called to reconfirm my appointment this morning and the one woman I spoke with cut me off mid sentence, spoke over me, then when I tried asserting myself accused me of behaving hostile and placed the call on indefinite hold. Now this is the same company that had me drive across town the week before for an appointment only to be told «our X-​Ray machine is broken…(sorry no one called to reschedule)». Poor… smh. I’ve visited them a time or two before… will never do so again. In customer service, the business entity cannot be wrong and strong.

My husband and I needed MRIs done. The staff called us the day prior to the appointment and inform us the appointment for my husband was at 11am and my appointment was at 1pm. After arriving at 10:45 am we sat for 45 minutes and were passed over multiple times by patients who arrived after us. The reception then tells us that our appointment was at 11:30am. Another 20mins later they call my husband back to do his MRI, but all he did was wait again in a different waiting room. Almost two hours later was when they started his MRI. They call me back from the front waiting area to take me to a back waiting room to later inform me that it will be another 45 minutes before they can call me back! So now 2 hours here waiting to be sent to a third waiting area and still no MRI… all in all we were there from 10:45 am to 2:15 pm. That was beyond ridiculous…

I had to wait 2 hours before they told me that the machine was down. Since this occurred around noon time, I was unable to have my lunch. Therefore, I was extremely hungry. After I was advised about the machine’s status, I was advised that I could wait 20 more minutes because their other machine would be available. If the machine was down, they could have notified me and given me the option to reschedule or go to another facility. I definitely do not recommend this place and will advise my doctor about my experience. Total time I spent at this facility is 3.25 hours. Also, yes I did have an appointment.

Very clean, normally runs on time. I always choose this place for my tests. The staff is always so nice and professional.

Better than expected. Nice staff.
