Quality Auto Glass

Did work on my vehicle and the weather seal leaks. Contacted the company numerous times, and have yet to tried to repair the problem. This company sucks. Will never use them again, would not recommend them to anyone.

The Dallas storm this weekend threw a wrench in my plans, or rather, a branch into my windshield.
Kevin (the owner) was great in that he actually answers calls on weekends (yay!!) and then after price shopping they truly had the cheapest priced windshield available. Kiu (the tech) called to give me a 15 minutes heads up (I hate it when people just show up at your door) and thoroughly explained his work because I was curious. I learned about the difference between American glass (mine) and Chinese glass for windshields, rain sensors (mine), glass made for car manufacturers like my Mazda versus the same glass just not Mazda branded that I was having installed in my windshield. He even checked to make sure I didn’t get any of the rubber material on my shoes, replaced the stickers, and left it with a nice polish.
I have a warranty, and even though they know I am leaving town, I have their number in case for some reason something wrong happens (which won’t) when I am gone so that I can be taken care of. I was given instructions as well (keep tape on for 24 hours, don’t wash for three days, careful on the bumps, no door slamming).
Finally, as a parting comment regarding Mr. Onofre’s review, I hope that eventually he encountered someone who explained to him that a convertible is a type of car, and yes, that is in fact enough information to know if you can help out especially if the company doesn’t service glass for convertibles. At least he didn’t get pulled around by a dishonest company trying to make a buck by performing a service they don’t normally do!

Horrible customer service !!! I tried getting a quote to fix a rear convertible windows that became unglued from the top and the guy didn’t even ask what type of car it was he said I can’t do it and go to the dealer. What type of service is this.

A few weeks ago, yet another rock thrown up by a big truck completely smashed my windshield. I delayed getting it fixed, because often these sort of repairs become a big hassle. This time I was pleasantly surprised. My insurance company put me through directly to Quality Auto Glass, and they offered me an appointment the very next day. They gave me a 2-​hour window and the gentleman called me to let me know when he was actually heading this way. He was on-​time and very knowledgeable. He even pointed out that a previous installer had not sealed the window totally and it had started to rust under the rubber trim. He took time to prime the rust, let it dry, and then finish the install, at no extra charge. All this late on a Friday in sweltering heat.
My windshield looks like new and I’ve had no problems whatsoever. I highly recommend this company if you need a similar service.
