they fu**ed up my car. it is in the worst shape since i bought after i took it to them
i went there for service, they are overpriced.
they charged me 5.5 hrs of labour ($ 500) for 1.5 hrs of job in max
i took it back again saying these things are not normally functioning after i did service here, they replied «i think its totally normal, you are just trying to blame us.»
that indian guy (named r.p.) is the biggest jerk i have ever seen. has no sense of customer service. does not know how to speak with customer. he needs to be fired.

My elderly mother in law, who’s Veteran husband passed away 5 years ago took her truck into this place with a major coolant leak. They had it for several days and recommended replacing the intake manifold gasket, sparkplugs and a couple of other things. ($ 620 something in cost) She authorized the repairs, thinking the repairs would fix the coolant leak. After theses repairs were made she was informed that the intake had a hole in it and it would have to be replaced for an additional $ 750 because the original leak still existed. I went with her to pick up the vehicle, she had to pay the $ 620 dollar invoice before we could tow it off and have her original problem fixed.
I used an inspection mirror and flashlight and located the hole in the intake within 5 minutes. Found an intake in Iowa and had it shipped here for $ 75 and installed it my self. This repaired the coolant leak. I ended up finding and replacing 2 coil packs not firing as well.
I made multiple attempts to contact the owner about this situation without a call back. First I was told that he wasn’t available, and I needed to speak with the manager. (The same guy that charged $ 620 for repairs that didn’t pertain to the original truck problem, I don’t think so.) The next two times I was told that my message was passed along to the owner.
I feel like my mother in law was preyed upon by this shop and the owner has no conscience if he can allow business like this to be conducted out of his location.
Don’t bring your vehicle here unless you want to be cheated and lied to.

Strong and False Recommendations is the reason I write this review today.
I recently visited this service location for a change of oil. The Service Tech «Brock» asked that I come over to look a the inside of the Oil Filler Cap. He stated that it’s recommended that the engine be «Flushed» out from built up oil deposit every year.
I asked «Every Year»? After going through his sales pitch I said no thank you.
after which he asked again if I was sure. I know of no again. I know of no auto maker recommending such oil flushes of engines be done. As a matter of fact, I’ve heard more engines being ruined after engine flushes.
I’m sure. I believe that’s when the Tech determined that I was not a valued customer. He finished the work and I paid for the service.
It was when I returned to the car to see that he paid no mind to wiping his hands of oil as he worked within the interior of the car. Black Oil residue on leather steering wheel, leather shift knob, door window frame and handle as well as all over the front hood where it closes. Not happy that I had to clean up after him. This service location changed ownership a few years ago and steadily dropped off in customer satisfaction in my opinion. I’ve given it a fair evaluation over the past years, but this visit will be my last.

Not getting good vibes. While eating lunch I got a call saying my Radiator fluid was low and the explanation of how much it would cost me was confusing. Ended up paying way more than I wanted.

Came in for state inspection to get a discount on the inspection. The service guy said all is good except for the rear differential fluid. It is low but not due to a leak. If it is not refilled, it will cause even worse repair. What the guy did not know was the same issue was indicated to us 3 months earlier at another Kwik Kar location in Richardson. Not knowing any better then, we went ahead with fixing the issue. Now, I think there was just nothing wrong and just wanted to squeeze us for more at these Kwik Kar places. I would not trust any Kwik Kar anymore because of this experience. I only gave them 2 stars because they still passed the inspection even when we didn’t get it done. We were afraid they will hold the low rear differential fluid as a reason for not passing the inspection.

I went to the 14^th St location in Plano. There was a special $ 32.99 for an oil change and tire rotation. They couldn’t rotate the tires so the charged me $ 34.99. I gave them $ 7.00 coupon but they still charged me $ 35.00. You mean to tell me you charged me $ 7.00 in taxes. What was the point of me using the coupon for service if I ended up paying the same price. I told the service guy that wasn’t right for him to charge me that price. They want to change your services so they can increase the price but that’s not right!!! DON’T GIVE ME A COUPON TO USE AND MY PRICE DOESN’T REFLECT IN WHAT IM PAYING!!! Point blank period. I WONT BE GOING BACK!!!

Do not go to this location! A ripoff and a scam!
I went in for a vehicle alignment. After about 45 minutes they told me they were only able to balance 3 out of the 4 wheels. They also said my front shocks didn’t work. they also could only align the other wheel if I fixed the tire rod. They said it would be another 250 bucks. I laughed… said no… canceled the oil change… and told them to drop my car and pull it outside.
They were surprised that I didn’t want to still get an oil change and rang me up for 54 dollars. They weren’t interested in making me happy or reaching a good conclusion for both. Maybe next time… if you can’t complete the service… don’t do the service at all!
I then took my car to the local Brakes Plus. They said I did not need a new tire rod and the shocks were working fine. They then did a car alignment successfully! And did an oil change. Basically everything kwik Kar said was a lie.
Never go to this place. You know the stories of mechanics trying to take advantage of people? This is the place they are talking about. A worthless business that hopefully the BBB will look into.

We used to go here regularly and were happy with their service. I’m not sure if they changed out employees or what, but things have gone downhill with our experiences. I now feel like they attempt to upsell and push unnecessary services. Last time I went to try to get an alignment, a guy came out and just kind of mumbled at me. Their sign advertised a special of $ 49.99 for an alignment for «most» vehicles. Apparently my front wheel drive 2007 sedan is not included in their idea of «most» and would not give me the advertised rate. They also told me they would not do the alignment at all that day because it was raining. I had no problem taking it down the road to a competitor, who treated me professionally, charged me the posted rate, and did not consider weather a determining factor in whether or not they could assist me that day. That was my last attempt at getting anything done at this Kwik Kar location.

Time for the convertible to get an oil change. Also decided to flush/​bleed the brake system of fluid. Both were handled well and reasonably priced considering I went with full synthetic oil.
Also had their ASE Certified tech Scott replace the computer in my car (Check Engine Light was on) and was charged the «actual time» instead of the ‘book time” for the price. Saved me 50% and was a great job!
