Innovative Auto Works

I have used Innovative for almost 20 years and have always been satisfied with their work. They have always been honest and fair and I have never had to take my car back for the same reason. I have referred all of my friends and relatives to them, and they have had no complaints. I worked for a major auto company for 41 years and no dealership repair shop comparers to Innovative. Thank you for taking care of my automobiles

These guys never dissapoint, any time I need special repairs done to the car or I just need an honest answer to a serious question they have never let me down. When I do drop by I always come by to see Kenny, This is a mom and pop shop kinda place so they are very personable with their customers. The wait area is really nice, alot like chilling at your brother or uncles place while your vehicle gets worked on.

I was on a roadtrip to Dallas earlier this week. Literally, right before I was going to drive back home, my car wouldn’t start. AAA suggested Innovative Auto Works, so I just went with it because I was desperate.
These guys were able to diagnose and fix a broken alternator in under an hour and a half for a reasonable cost.
There’s also a comfy lounge to sit and wait in with a TV and (recent!!) magazines. I believe they also have drinks.
I really appreciate how these guys didn’t try to tell me other things were wrong/​upcharge me. Everyone I talked to was really nice. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to others.

I brought my car in thinking it was an easy fix, however, it was much more extensive then originally thought. I literally cried thinking about the cost of fixing it. However, Rick and his team really came through for me.
They got it diagnosed and fixed in the span of a day. He went out of his way to help me in any way he cutting corners on the bill. I trust these guys completely with my car, wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Took my car here for repair to the wiring for head/​tail lights. Wiring included driving lights however when I was informed the repairs complete and I could pick up my vehicle, the driving lights did not work. Ken told me it would be an additional charge for his shop to do the rest of the work. !!! Why call and tell me the work was completed? Fast forward a short time later when I have the fuse box open to see if I can finish the job myself only to note the driving lights wiring harness is MISSING and this was one of the areas which failed and was to have been repaired — I even GAVE them a new turn signal switch to use in the event the original had been fried. They said it had but wouldn’t return the original so I have no idea if they’re even telling the truth. My wife and I have NOT been back since this incident and I don’t see us ever returning. It would have been better for them to decline to work on my car than accept it, call me to complain about the cramped work area and then only do part of the work while I paid 100% of their fee.

We’ve been going to Innovative Auto Works for over a decade. They are honest techs, fixing what is wrong and not «finding» things that aren’t. They charge a fair rate, learn you and your vehicles and are an all-​around first-​class local business.

These guys did really good work for us. We had a problem with the first repair they did for us, they charged $ 400 to fix an oil leak and a few weeks later we noticed it was still leaking some oil. We took the car back to them a few months later for another problem and because we were displeased with the previous work they waived the diagnostic fee and even fixed another problem we were having free of charge.

I brought my car to Innovative Auto Works based on the other Unilocal reviews. I usually dread having auto repairs done because of the repair guys and unpleasant customer waiting areas. However, this place is different! The staff was pleasant and professional. They did the repair I came in for and didn’t try to do extra work I didn’t need. The work was completed as promised and I was updated on the status along the way. The waiting area though a little small, is clean, nicely decorated and has very comfortable furniture. It’s more like you’re sitting in a living room. Target, a Beauty Supply store and a few fast food restaurants are within walking distance. This was my first visit but I plan to come back if I need other repairs. I will recommend this shop to my female friends.

I have been going to Innovative Auto works for 9 years now. The have worked on my Ford Explorer, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Porsche Carrera Cabriolet. They are helpful, honest, reliable.
