El Norte? El No way. Sorry folks, but this was a cheesy place. Pun Intended. Not to mention way over priced for the quantity and quality! I ordered cheese enchiladas and they served up really small enchiladas with a quasi corn tortilla filled with a petrified block of processed cheese, which was not even melted. The white queso that went on top looked like processed American sliced white cheese that was melted and solidified. The AC was blowing directly on the food making it cold before you even had a chance to pick at it. The salsa and rice were the only two items out of everything we ordered that I liked. Even the spinach in the enchilada tasted like frozen spinach mixed with canned mushrooms, and the waiter had the guts to state everything was made fresh daily. The ambiance is mediocre. Service was reasonable. I certainly would not return because the food does not meet the minimum requirement to be considered a Mexican restaurant. If you want a reality check, try Chuys or Abuelos and then make your comparison.

This place is awesome. It’s a pretty quaint place. I love their tacos!!! The alcoholic beverages are pretty awesome too. If you’re ever driving down Parker Rd and are looking for a great dinner keep this place on your radar!

I have been here for a lunch a few times(never for dinner). Food is good, as is their chips and salsa. Fun décor and they aren’t very busy during lunch. I will say that service has been hit or miss during lunch though. I find this odd since they are never really that busy either. Go back to place, but will keep a close eye on service vs lunch cost /quality.

This Plano family owned Tex-Mex is great. First the chips are those really thin kind which are made daily, the salsa is mild to hot, not just watered down tomato paste. The décor is comfortable and fun, there’s no method to the madness, the menu says you can bring anything funky in and the owners will give you a buck for it. The margaritas were strong and tasty, had cheese enchiladas that were delicious, portions are pretty big, try not to eat too many baskets of chips, the wait staff is very responsive and will keep bringing them to you. Well worth it if you live in the area.
