I’m shocked also by these reviews! My daughter purchased «the dress» yesterday after visiting four other stores. Jo was fabulous! She didn’t pressure us and allowed my daughter the time to try on her selections. I can tell you that after four other stores, it’s nice to be able to actually SEE the dresses, be given time to view the dress without someone standing there pressuring you, and given some privacy in the dressing room! Jo was so kind and allowed my daughter to make 7 or 8 selections and then she chose some selections based upon my daughter’s vision for the wedding. In the end, it was a dress that Jo had chosen which we overlooked because it didn’t have bling on it. Jo knew what my daughter was looking for even before we did! ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

I recently purchased my wedding gown from Bridal Collections by Stella with the help of Jo and I had a wonderful experience. The shop was clean, comfortable and quiet (they only schedule a few brides at a time so that everyone has space) and all the staff were professional, kind and helpful. Jo was especially delightful to work with — I took just my Mom with me and we were unhurried and understood. Highly recommend coming to Bridal Collections by Stella!

I’m shocked by some of these reviews. I could not have asked for better service or a more knowledgeable staff helping me pick out my most important dress yet. Sandy was incredible. She truly knows her stuff and was quick to find out my style and help me look at things in different views, for example pulling all the poofy tule between my legs in the mirror to see what it’ll look like removed. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. The selection of dresses here is large with many designers but not overwhelming with racks and racks like other places can be. Jo is so sweet also and quick to answer any questions and very helpful. We had an amazing time shopping for my dress here and I would highly recommend them to anyone shopping for their wedding dress. They were also very quick to get back to my voicemails and get questions from the designer answered for me.

I’m only posting on this again because you promised TWICE (once in a private Unilocal message and once publicly) that you would get in contact with me to help me out…2 months ago. Surprise surprise… you still have not done that…2 months later. This is why I hated working with you. Empty promises. Don’t bother doing it now to try and save face either.
Yes, I would say there were «unusual» circumstances for sure. The way you handled taking over Stella’s business was very «unusual». Also, you did cancel my dress in order to reorder it to build credit for yourselves when you took over Stella’s business, so no need to lie about that either.

I went to Dallas for a long weekend to visit very close family friends. I am recently engaged and so my Aunt wanted us to go check out this Bridal Salon. I cannot tell you have amazing it was. We walked in and the owner, Jo, said she had an hour before her next appointment and that if we thought that was fine she would love to help. It was truly awesome. In one hour, I tried on 8 wedding dresses and narrowed down the style of dress I want for my wedding day. She was also very inviting and told us about their custom work They do in house. I live in Houston and I will have the wedding in Louisiana. Even though it seems crazy to go buy my dress in a new city– the hospitality and genuine nature of the owner– I have a very good feeling she will see me again closer to the wedding. Thank you Jo for being so inviting and amazing.

Awesome place! I found my wedding dress here! I went to other bridal shops before and they are either bad customer service or did not really listen to what I really want. When the time I went to Stella I realized this is the bridal shop I like and I can find my wedding dress here. Jo was so nice and helped me tried all the dresses I picked up.

Of all the experiences I’ve had at a bridal shop (I’ve been married before), this was by far the best. I got a very convenient appointment fairly quickly given the season. Jo helped me and she was such a warm, unpretentious listener, offered me suggestions that were exactly what I imagined, but also had an amazing eye and intuition for something a little different that complemented my figure and personality. I actually loved her unobtrusive input and I felt cared for and very special while there. I don’t really have any «buts» either. The five stars were well earned. Thank you!

After trying to get a hold of Stella’s by their website message form, multiple phone calls, and a message to their Facebook page, I have been totally ignored for over a week. Thanks to Facebook’s new messaging service, I can see that my message to them was recieved and seen by some one on their side. That was last week and still no word from them. I was trying to inquire about their inventory of bridal dresses but my business apparently isn’t of value so it will be taken else where.

This boutique is perfect! Robbie was my consultant and she is fabulous. She guided me through the store first, then let me pick out ones I wanted and she also pulled ones she thought I may like. She was patient and listened to what I liked and wanted. She wasn’t pushy, allowed it to be my choice, but also guided me to my favorite dress! I am so happy that I purchased my dress from this shop! Stella was around as well and giving compliments to the ones she liked as well. The woman next to me was getting a fitting, so it was nice to see that process as well. I’m looking forward to going back for fittings!
We had been to other shops around the DFW area and nothing compares to the service and selection at Stella’s. Other shops didn’t allow pictures or were totally pushy towards what they liked, instead of listening to what I wanted. Robbie allowed me to take pictures, which was what I kept looking at for the next two days-​I was hooked! I highly recommend this shop for those to value service and focused attention.

Store is very well organized, but lace selection was limited. Prices were average – around $ 2k.

After visiting several bridal boutiques on my hunt for a wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, and a flower girl dress, Bridal Collection By Stella is by far the BEST in town. Stella herself is not only extremely funny but super sweet and personable. I felt like I have known her my whole life which made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. I Got all my bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dress, flower girl dress/​shoes, all my alterations, and dress cleaning/​preserving from Stella. Extremely pleased with everything all along the way. Also she has the most talented seamstress I have ever seen! Ingrid is AMAZING! Since im a curvy gal, my dress had to be ordered a few sizes bigger to fit in the chest area properly. My dress was also covered in a very delicate fine lace. Ingrid had a big task set out for her and she mastered it! By the time my dress was finish, I felt like it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined thanks to Ingrid’s beautiful talented work. Bridesmaid dress were shipped fast and beautiful. Stella even shipped the dresses to my bridesmaids that were out of state.
Also, Stella has been in the business for a while now so she was such a great help in refering venders to us.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! If could give STELLA 1,000 stars, I would!!! I got my bridal gown, shoes, veil, and all my accessories at Stella’s…I just couldn’t get enough! Stella and her team are sweet, polite, professional, and easy to work with. They will spend as much one on one time with you as you need. I can’t tell you how many pictures Stella took on her IPAD of me in my bridal gown, so I could see all angles of the dress. She was willing to spend hours of her individual time with me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I loved that Stella was genuine and would give me her honest opinion when I asked for it. I looked forward to each and every fitting I had at Stella’s. It was the one place I felt calm and relaxed in the midst of all the wedding planning chaos. I always left her store feeling rejuvenated.

Stella went above and beyond the call of duty and hand delivered my dress on my wedding day to Royal Lane Baptist Church and helped me get ready and see me walk down the aisle. This is one of my favorite & cherished wedding memories!!!

My wedding was over a year ago, and my mom and I still keep in touch with Stella. She is like a family friend to us. Stella must have done an incredible job on my wedding dress because my wedding pictures have been sought after by 3 magazines: Society Weddings, D Weddings, and Brides of North Texas! WAY TO GO STELLA!

I purchased my bridesmaid dress here for my best friend’s wedding. The part that lost my service, and hopefully yours, is the lack of customer service on their part. I received a call from a stranger saying my bridesmaid dress was found in the street in Frisco… explain that. Apparently it had blown out of the alternation vehicle. Not only did Stella’s not call me to inform it was lost, I had to inform the bride of the situation also. Thankfully the man retained the dress until the store could pick it up. When I went in to get the dress, the only person who apologized respectfully was the alteration lady. Stella blamed the man for not flagging down the alteration lady and went on to say how common it was for people to forget things… this is a business. No sense of wrongdoing was acknowledged by Stella. All I wanted was better customer service. I would not recommend this store for business.

Stella and her team are professional, considerate, and AMAZING!!!
I moved here from Charlotte, NC and had my dress shipped to Stella’s to do my final fittings. I had done a lot of alterations to my final dress, which were all supposed to be finished in NC and then shipped. Once it arrived to Stella’s i noticed NONE of the additional lace work had been done and they cut my dress to short. Stella and Ingrid worked their magic and in record time finished all the alterations and created the dress I had envisioned!!!

I can’t believe that I haven’t reviewed Stella yet. Let me tell you. She is the ABSOLUTE best. I have been is way too many weddings and over the years I have come to Stella for most of my bridesmaid’s dresses. Even when they weren’t from her shop, I’ve come to trust Stella and her crack seamstress Ingrid to make everything fit perfectly. Stella has an incredibly eye for what looks good on a woman’s body, and Ingrid is a miracle worker with a needle and thread.
Now is my turn to be the bride and Stella has been by my side all along the way. I had something very specific in mind for my dress, but unfortunately didn’t find it in her shop. She hugged me and said — «I have ‘the dress’ for alot of girls, but not for every girl.» When I did find my dress I brought it straight to Stella! I’m halfway through my fittings and know that once again, Bridal Collections by Stella will be making my dreams come true once again.

After having been turned away at another bridal shop because «they wanted me to have to whole experience, but don’t have enough time to help me», I called Stella and was told they would be more than happy to help me. It has been the smoothest and most wonderful experience. Stella is truly amazing! I was helped happily and we ended up staying past closing. They never mentioned the time at all and were more than happy to let me try on the dress I wanted again even though it was past five.
They have a great selection of dresses, I don’t know all they price points, but if you want a cheap (less than a grand) you should probably try a place that markets to that price point. Their dresses are so beautiful and Stella really knows what works for each person and their body!
Today I came in with my maids without an appointment and Stella went above and beyond with helping us! We didn’t really know what we were looking for as far as shape and color, but she took the time to pick out the cutest dresses and helped find a color that worked with all the girls! Bridal by Stella is just the best wedding boutique. I would not have wanted to try to do this without her help! She even let me try on the sample of my dress again and worked with me to find my veil, trying them on again and again.
I would recommend this boutique to any bride who doesn’t take herself to serious. I only tried one boutique and was more than happy. It seems some people just can’t be pleased no matter what they do. To see if they have dresses in your size, I would recommend calling if you are in doubt. But seriously, Stella is the best!!!

This is the first shop I’ve been to where the overall vibe I got was «you are too fat and poor to be here» but they have not learned a polite way of expressing this (like maybe telling me straight up «all of our samples are 8s, sorry.») I wouldn’t be embarrassed if they said that when I walked in the door (before I filled in a bunch of personal information that they’ll probably sell) Although I may not immediately scream PLUS SIZE BRIDE I certainly don’t look like a bridal 8, which is a street size 6! The price wasn’t so much an issue but the lady helping me somehow made me feel weird about that, too. She asked me my budget and I said didn’t want to spend much over a grand. This seemed to make her stammer and act like there’s no way she could accommodate such a broke bitch when in reality, most of the dresses were in the $ 1000ish range. Yes, there were some over $ 2000 gowns but to act like my budget was such an inconvenience seemed rude and inaccurate, perhaps they need to be trained to be more delicate. But, what did I expect? It’s Plano and I guess there’s no reason to waste time being nice to me when someone else is ready drop that kind of cash without batting an eyelash extension.
I also am a jovial type who likes to crack jokes and not take this whole wedding thing so seriously so I appreciate the people I work with at these stores to play along, maybe remove the wedding dress hanger from up their ass for a little while. That’s not gonna happen here. Stella’s is serious business. I’m giving them more than 1 star only because the place is very tidy and smells good– I commented that it smelled really nice and the three employees in front of me just stared blankly at me.
I did squeeze myself into the 3 dresses that came in a 12, and holy moly one was even a 14! Nothing there was really my style and they didn’t have a very wide selection to begin with. So in the end, the whole place was a bad match but I just feel there has to be a better way for us to come to that conclusion without leaving me feeling so awkward. As I was leaving, my consultant started aggressively pushing me towards Circle Park Bridal. I knew there was a reason I decided not to try Circle Park– oh yeah, another Unilocaler wrote that they don’t have any plus size gowns there, either. Anyway, if your skinny and want something very specific that they carry (the latter being the case for the three higher reviews) then this place might work for you, but if you’re on any sort of budget, are bigger than a breadbox (or have simply eaten too many carbs), and want to browse alot of dresses, hop along to another shop.

My girlfriend (who lives in Chicago) was getting married and picked out two Jenny Yoo dresses for us to choose from. I am the type of person that HAS to try on any dress before she buys… so after research I found that Stella’s was the ONLY place in the Dallas area who carries this line.
The bride had set up a website on Jenny Yoo’s homepage, for us to order through. If we did this, we would get a discount due to the 8 bridesmaids purchasing. So I called and spoke with Stella herself. She informed me that I had to buy the dress through her, that Jenny Yoo doesn’t supply directly unless purchasing at her store. After explaining the situation and that I could, she goes…“Well do you want to come in and just try on the dresses?” AWESOME! I mean, I told her right off the bat that I would NOT be purchasing through her, but I wanted to try on each dress before I made my decision. I just felt bad for wasting their time. She said it was no problem.
I show up and they already had the two dresses pulled for me. I was in and out in 10 minutes with my fabulous dress selection AND they took my measurements… all this at no charge.
Fast forward 8 weeks later.
My dress arrives and needs some major work done. Who do I call? STELLA! Since this dress was a pretty penny, I’m not taking it to your run o’ the mill place. I want someone who has talented needle hands! Not to mention bring them my business after they took time out of theirs to help me. I called back and Stella knew exactly who I was and asked if my dress had arrived, I told her it had and I wanted to bring it to her for alterations. I showed up on a Saturday and put the dress on, I was tagged and pinned… blah blah blah. Three weeks later, I go to pick up my dress and its amazing. Fits perfectly. I don’t think I’ve EVER had work done to a dress this good. For serious.
The reason I gave this 4 stars, instead of 5…
1. They moved locations and didn’t tell me. When I went to get my dress fitted I showed up to an empty space.
2. Didn’t call when my dress was ready to be picked up.
3. Alterations (in my opinion), although AMAZING… were VERY pricey. (Call me naïve, if you want).
I only deducted 1 star, because even though all this happened, I still ALWAYS left with a smile on my face. They were so apologetic for the location mishap and dress pickup (like borderline crazy apologetic). Ha. I wish I could give ½ stars… i would give this 4 ½ stars! For sure!
I know that when I get married, Stella will probably be the first place I go. For wedding and bridesmaids. Not only was she lovely, but her staff was incredibly helpful and also extremely friendly.

I didn’t expect walking into this little boutique of less than 50 gowns that I would find the perfect dress for me. Several seemed just outside my budget, and when I started talking to the daughter, of the mother/​daughter duo that runs this store, I found out that they were in the process of having a sample sale. So several of their gowns were 40−60% off, and were no longer available for ordering.
Lucky for me, I fit into most of the samples, and ended up loving 4 gowns that I tried on. One in particular really stood out, and the women really knew what they were talking about when it came to which head wear looks best with which dress, something I was kind of clueless about.
I really got some personal assistance without feeling pressured, and I bought my wedding dress on the spot. Since it was a sample sale, I got the dress I tried on and I don’t have to worry about ordering and whatnot, plus I was able to get more dress than I could afford. I’ll be back 6 weeks before the wedding to make any last alterations. Bridal Boutique by Stella really made what was becoming a stressful process really easy and fun. And the ladies who run it couldn’t have been nicer or more fun to work with.
