When you have a hot house the entire family is cranky. I messaged them at 10pm Monday night they responded and were at my house next day by 12pm. Had problem fixed and ready. It was good solid communication and execution. Price was not lowest but not highest. It was reasonable for the service.

Helpful, professional, reliable! Our A/​C is 23 years old and wasn’t cooling. It was after sunset and about 92 degrees in my house. We were roasting like mellows. I saw the reviews on here, called Sam, and he came out in 15 min flat to help us! I was shocked he was so quick. He took his time diagnosing the problem with our unit, gave us a great deal, and the next morning his professional and friendly team of guys came out for installation. They even put tarp on the floor all the way upstairs to not make a mess or track debris on our carpet. They worked so HARD in the heat of our attic and outside. They got the job done all in one afternoon. These guys are a small business, saved us thousands compared to Tempo who pretty much committed highway robbery with us. We will definitely call again with any future A/​C problems. Sam at ADAIR is definitely someone we can trust!

I’ve used Sam a few times over the years and he has been amazing. A very honest, prompt and economicAl solution. I would have him service my grand mammas house without hesitation.

Gave them a call at 3:30 PM today to see if they could come out and check on our A/​C unit that had stopped working. The gentleman on the phone was courteous and said they could be to us within the hour, they arrived in thirty minutes. He was straight forward and helpful. He fixed the broken relay and then cleaned the condenser and check the freon. Great service.

This is my first review. these guys are AMAZING! I searched around for other A/​C repair companies and these guys are by far the best. The technician that came out was very honest about our heating problem and didn’t B/​S around, I am definitely going to recommend my friends and family to him. Thank you!

My warranty company called this man to repair my refrigerator. He came quickly (after I called him) and diagnosed a bad compressor. so far so good. the part was ordered and I called again to see when he would replace it. Three days later, (after I called him again) he came the same day to replace the compressor. He told me I would have to pay him $ 75 for him to dispose of the compressor because of the refrigerant. I had already researched proper disposal and my city will do it per regulation for free. He said no, i could not do that. He also wanted to charge me another $ 75 for «maintenance» which entailed a 2 minute vacuuming of the coils behind the front grill, which I had just done the week before exactly the same way he did it. When i told him i didn’t ask for a maintenance service he told me the warranty company had told me I needed it. I had him call the company, and the rep there told me since I didn’t request a maintenance service, I did not owe him and if I had arranged for legal disposal, I shouldn’t pay him. He was very deceptive and tried to take advantage of me assuming since I was a grey haired woman, he could pull something. Never call him for anything. very dishonest and deceitful

Our heater went out last night I called Adair, Sam came over in no time and he fixed our heater quick men these guys are great I will give them two thumbs up.

Quickly returned my phone calls. Sam knew exactly the problem with my fridge. Was in and out and fixed quickly. I would highly recommond Adair and will be using them again should I have other issues.

In the process of buying my first place. Decided I wanted the HVAC system checked out by a professional and not just the home inspection service.
Found Adair A/​C Heating and Refrigeration via Unilocal of course. Great reviews and stories of Adair helping others. Figured it would be money well spent.
Called and spoke with Sam, scheduled an appointment.
Come appointment time, no call, no show. I was busy with other inspections as well, so I figured I’d give Adair some more time to arrive. By the time the home inspection and pool inspections were complete, it was an hour past the scheduled time, so I called Adair. Spoke with Sam. He didn’t appear fazed by the fact he missed an appointment. He did offer to come out the next day, but I decided to go with another service.
If there was another emergency, or something else that came up and I had gotten a call, or even if he said «Oh, I forgot, I had an emergency call», because we know these things happen. I’d have been ok with that and just rescheduled.
But that was not suggested as the reason why. Just didn’t show up.
So maybe Adair is good when they show up? If I have an emergency, maybe I’ll try them again, since they jump on those?

Sam and Unilocal.just saved me 3200.00 I even thought about giving him a tip.
AC went out last night at about 8. I called one of those «24÷7» service shops to come out and look at it. That guy said the compressor was bad and quoted me 3400 on a new unit. I went to Unilocal this morning, to find AC people to call to get quotes on a new unit. One of the AC companies I chose was «Adair» (because of their ratings and reviews). Sam (works for Adair) came out and looked at my unit. I told him I really just wanted a quote, but he wanted to take a look anyway. As Sam started to unscrew «screws» I had told him, I looked at the compacitor (sry for the spelling) and that it didnt look «bulging» or «swelled» (tell signs its bad). and that the guy looked at it last night and said it was ok.
Sam said, «I bet that’s your problem. Let me try and fix it and if it doesn’t work, I wont charge you». Of course i said !!! No risk to me on that … Well. Sam’s honestly and 30 yrs of work paid off. it worked. End result. Sam charged me 200 for the capicitor and trip… He saved me 3200.00. I can give no higher review than 5 stars for this company but I wish I could. These guys rock !.
Important note. I’m an IT guy by trade. I almost didn’t call Adair because their website didn’t look very professional or up to date. (and to me that can reflect on risk). I decided to give Unilocal the benefit of the doubt. and went with them anyway.
Whew. Glad i did ! maybe ill design them a website for free.

Our AC went down in 100+ heat, but we made the mistake of calling another AC repair company first. They were going to charge $ 150 just to come and diagnose the problem. After checking out Unilocal,I called Adair, and Adair was able to fix the problem for less than the other company wanted to charge just for the diagnosis.
Adair was prompt, friendly, honest, and competent. I am very pleased, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for AC repair /​service. Thank you Adair!!!

Getting a service call on a weekend, let alone during bad weather, has got to be a huge downside to being self employed. But Sam at Adair was professional and courteous.
Last Sunday my freezer was freezing but the refrigerator wasn’t even cold. In the span of 2 hours Sam came to the house, diagnosed and repaired the problem. Apparently the fan was broken and needed to be replaced. He had the part in his van and he even put covers on his shoes so he didn’t track water in the house.
All told the bill was around $ 160 for the part and labor. It would have cost a Sears repair tech $ 130 to just come out to the house.
