Just drove out from Yorkville, told me to come on in were not very busy. Drove all the way here to have them lock the door and say it will be an hour and a half. That is so wrong!!! No hair cut and a waste of gas!!!

Very disappointing. Signed in, was ignored. You better make a appointment. Finally when I decided to walk out they told me someone can take take my son. Guys walking in and out, they don’t even look at the sign in sheet. Can’t post with out a star, they dont deserve it.

This place is ok, it’s not the best as others may make it seem!
I have been going here because it is close to where I live, they are under staffed so be ready for a long wait to get on a chair.
I now only use this place for emergency if I can’t go to the city. So I’ll close this up by saying, only go here if you can’t make the trip to the city where the real barbers are!

I found this place thanks to fellow Unilocalers reviews. They are correct, this is worth the trip. I walked in a was a bit overwhelmed, it was lunch time and the place was full and not sure where to check in. Looking confused one of the barbers noticed me and asked you need a haircut. Yep I do, he said come on over. I was surprised due too the amount of people waiting but they had appointments with certain barbers. Blue was my barber. He asked what I wanted and just like that I was looking good. Nice job on fading, trimming and straight razor to even it all out. I was in the chair for about 30 minutes but very relaxing and Blue took his time and carried on some general conversation. Big place I think they had 14 barbers cutting hair and they do just about anything you want. This was a good doo, good prices, no appointment needed and when I got back too work my co-​workers liked, yep I got it going on.

Today I made the 18 mile journey from Downers Grove to Plainfield to visit another Platinum Fades barber lounge. I am a fan of the Chicago franchise so I thought I give the Plainfield location a try. Jose was the barber who hooked it up with a fresh fade while still keeping my natural slick back hair style. I have to tighten up the sides, its my signature look. Jose also lined up my neck, over the ears and temple with a straight razor to ensure maximum sleekness.
