This is quite possibly the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to, given their selection of local and organic beverages and food! So small town and sweet, and like a previous comment full of love. Make it a priority to stop by here if you are anywhere near Plainfield!

This living room coffee shop with drop-​off and pickup for expert knife-​sharpener JW Bensinger has delicious food and espresso you really don’t expect to find in a small town like Plainfield. It’s also a favored hangout of local characters, and has WiFi and comfy seats. Like a second home downstairs and across the river from me… If only it were open later than 2pm – but such is life with limited population base and inspection status. Still, I like to fantasize that someday they’ll get a liquor license and become the after-​hours intimate music or film spot of Plainfield… Dream in, I know.

I love Hestia!!! The espresso drinks are the best in central Vermont. They use Sweet Rueben milk & excellent espresso. Homemade, delicious gluten free pastries & treats & bread for sandwiches. Good breakfast & lunch sandwiches, sweet small town cozy atmosphere.

Charming little café in an otherwise dreary Plainfield. The coffee was very good, bordering on excellent. Hestia’s also has breakfast sandwiches a nd lunch sandwiches, and they post a list of where all the ingredients come from… and it’s all fresh from local farms. I’ll be back!

I am so in love with Hestia. I hit up this sweet little espresso bar almost every day — yup, I’m a total regular.
I usually get their iced coffee (americano ice cubes = amazing), but the other day I switched it up and tried a dirty iced chai… delicious + my absolute favorite drink ever.
I feel so thankful to have this little hot spot in Plainfield.

These people were super nice and they made us a great iced Americano and chai latte. Cozy interior. Nice place to hang out. They have a massage table set up in an alcove, and I guess you can get massages during the week there. I really liked the place and I’ll stop by next time I’m in the area. The chocolate chip cookie I got was great too.

I will look for this place again when I’m in Plainfield. The treats were sweet, and you could tell — made with love. You could see the baker in motion if you’re lucky! And the owner told me that she sanded the floor herself for like 13 hours. It’s a beautiful space, very sunny, very comfy couch. You could spend a whole quiet afternoon in here with a book. The drinks were very well made. They knew what to do with the americano, talked all about how people make the mistake of making it coffee water. But they sure didn’t! :)
