Boozle B’s

Have gotten my son’s haircut here twice. It’s not geographically desirable but it’s the only kid-​geared spot nearby. I bring him here to get him used to the clippers and the whole process while in a space that makes him comfortable.
This place meets those requirements. If I had a girl I would be in trouble as the front waiting area is a glitter sparkle explosion of princess dresses and hair stuff. He doesn’t pay attention to that. I have caught him gazing longingly at the play area but we’ve never had to wait long enough for him to use it. He loves sitting in the car and pushing the buttons on the steering wheel while they clip and trim him. There’s tvs with cartoons on all over the place and a couple of regular chairs. If your kid has sensory issues or gets easily overstimulated by their environment it might be a little overwhelming.
Our first cut the lady used the biggest guard because she said he still had baby hair coming in that she didn’t want to mess with (he was 10 mos). They gave him a certificate with his picture and a lock of hair when they finished. We were back exactly a month later because he has my freak genetics and his hair grows quickly. This time a different woman used a smaller guard and even cleaned up his little side burns. It lasted longer this time.
The price is a little steep (about $ 20) a cut.

Kathy is great! My daughter loves going here to get her hair trimmed. The «spa» specials they run periodically make for a fun start to a mommy/​daughter day.

After a disaster hair experience for my girls at another kids cutting place, I tried boozle b’s to help fix their hair. Kathy was amazing, patient, and knew how to fix our botched hair. She is my hero!

Great place to take your kids! I would say it’s definitely geared more towards girls but my 16 month old didn’t seem to notice ;) He received his first haircut by Michelle. She was very sweet and was great with his curly hair! Quick and painless! The certificate they get for their first haircut is really cute too. My only complaint was the price. $ 19 for a 5 minute haircut seemed really pricey. That was even including the $ 2 off check in offer! Yikes!

We are new to the area and I was looking for a place to cut both my daughter’s hair. I found Boozle B’ and decided to give it a try. The customer service we received was great. It was my baby’s first haircut, which turned out awesome and my eldest loved it there as well. I would go back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a kid friendly place for kids haircuts. I am very pleased with everything. Thank you Boozle B’s for making this such a great experience.

My oldest girl is really into princesses, dresses, and sparkles etc. I decided for her 4^th birthday to get her hair dippity-do’ed so she could feel like a princess. We were taken on time at our appointment. The salon itself is spacious and very kid friendly.
The lady who worked on my daughter’s hair was very kind and accommodating. I do think that for the money paid for the style, it could have been executed a bit better. The curls pretty much fell out by the time we walked to the car. They also used these tiny rubber bands, which have a tendency to pull out hair (or get eaten by the younger ones). I’ve pretty much gotten to this braiding level myself by practicing and could have done this at home.
However, 4 stars for making my girl feel like a princess on her birthday, because that’s what it’s all about-​the experience. I think she enjoyed her time there. However, this place would probably be better to be visited by a group of kids who want a pamper party or something on a larger scale to get your money’s worth.

We were recommended to go to Boozle B’s for my daughter’s first hair cut, and often recommendations are the best suggestion to local establishments. However, this one didn’t pan out. I must be upfront that we were running 5 MINUTES late, and I called to tell them. (thats nice right??) Apparently not. That’s were it began. The woman on the phone was quite rude (disgusted sighs, short responses). I stated «we will just cancel if it’s a big deal and go somewhere else, this is my daughter’s first time and I want it to be fun.» She replied with «we will make it work.» I started to say «thank you» and the phone was hung up. Awesome. My daughter seemed to be very excited, as we had been trying to hype it up all day, so I decided to proceed with the appointment. They rushed us to her chair (no «hi, how are you» to my daughter), and the chair was incredibly filthy by the way. The website raves about how clean the place is, that is VERY incorrect. They should have taken those 5 extra minutes to clean the chairs. My daughter cried, which is expected for little kids during their first hair cut – no biggie. The stylist was trying to torque her at her shoulders to get her to turn, which made her cry harder, and didn’t cut to the length I suggested. The website also raves about the experience with kid’s cuts — it’s a place for kids! I didn’t see much for experience. Very little smiling by the stylists, very little attention to the kids… if I didn’t talk, I wouldn’t have gotten much attention either. The other woman on staff (the ever-​so-​sweet-​one on the phone earlier) was just rude. Annnnd then disgusted when I presented a coupon (THAT SHE SUGGESTED I BRING WHEN INITIALLY MAKING THE APPOINTMENT!!), and no «thank-​you» when I STILL left a tip. I should not have. Even while all this happened — in 15 minutes — it wasn’t until we were done that people were walking in the door for the next appointment. Either they were late, or we shouldn’t have been so rushed. Thank you Boozle B’s for ruining my daughters first hair cut experience for both of us. We will not come back, and I will heavily caution anyone to go there for a first hair cut… or any hair cut for that matter. WAY overpriced and sub-​par service. I know it’s the «amazing» experiences and the «rotten» ones that get the reviews on Unilocal.But when it comes to «first times», you can NEVER re-​do that. And I want others to have a good experience, unlike us.

After trying most other kid’s haircut places in the area, I still find Boozle B’s to give the best experience. It’s neither the cheapest nor the most expensive, but the price is worth the great haircut and the positive experience for my children. They nearly always have coupons available through their email mailing list, too, and that makes a big difference. We went again yesterday and had a very good experience.
My older son has sensory processing disorder and often has trouble sitting still and tolerating the clippers, scissors, and even the drape used to cover him. The nice lady cutting his hair was very patient, even though I know they were backed up. She was also very fast, so she was able to get a lot done during the few minutes my son actually sat still.
The haircuts themselves were great, and their advice for dealing with cowlicks and fuzzy hair were really spot-​on. When my three-​year-​old kept turning to look at the «Frozen» merchandise (that movie is like crack to him), she just turned the chair so he could see it and continued cutting his hair.
Without an appointment, I think we waited maybe 20 minutes. This was just fine, since the boys loved playing in the play area. They especially loved the circle cycle. I would recommend this place for any children’s haircuts.

I took my 3 year old son here yesterday and he got his hair cut by Michelle. We didn’t have an appointment but luckily we only had a 5 minute wait. My son was having fun immediately because he loved the play area. Michelle was VERY nice, she was so patient with my son and she knew what he would like — Lightning McQueen. He sat in the Lightning McQueen car/​chair while she cut his hair. They also had a big jeep next to that and my son liked that too. Michelle listened to how I explained the hair I wanted for my kid and she really cared and was very gentle with my kid who of course was squirmy being a 3 year old. Hair cut for my son was $ 16. They take credit cards but you can’t leave a tip by credit card so make sure you bring some cash to tip with!

Just had my daughter’s 8^th b-​day party here and it was money very well spent! All of her friends said it was the best party they’d ever been to. The girls were treated to hair style up-​dos, glitter make-​overs, bracelet making and games. The party room made them feel like they were in a fun, girly slumber party room. This is such a better alternative to jump houses, bowling alleys, etc.
After planning 2 kids parties a year, I know you can’t escape spending about $ 200. If you have a girl between ages 5 – 10 (and plan to spend 200 anyway), you absolutely will love your party here.

Love this place! The hairstylists are good with children and they actually know how to cut hair! We are alwatys satisfied! We can sually get same day appointments and I have even walked in a few times with no problem! I have had two birthday parites there as well (one for each of my girls) and they were fantastic!!! The only negative I have is that it is pricey for a childs haircut and the parties are insanely pricey, but for the most part it is definately worth it!

My daughter decided she wanted to get her hair cut to shoulder length, which would involve cutting off about 8 – 9 inches. When we got there, she got really nervous and had a minute where she almost backed out. The stylist calmed her and made her comfortable with her decision (by cutting it several times and letting her look to see if she liked it and if she wanted it any shorter). She ended up with a really cute cut and we couldn’t be happier.

We have gone here for kids cuts (I have a 1, 6 and 9 year old) and have been happy with the service and cuts for both my daughter and sons. We also recently had my daughter’s 6^th birthday party here. It was a Rock Star theme and she had a blast! They did lots of fun activities and the girls loved the glam treatment! I would highly recommend Boozle B’s!

This was my second time here with my nephew. The wait was said to be 15 mins only and ended up being longer than that like a half hour longer. This time they cut his hair and it was very uneven. We let the lady know this before we left so that she can fix it if we paid for it.
Pros: There are lots of toys the kids can play with

Took my 3 year old son here 10−15−12 for hair cut. I’m very happy I did. Place has a play area in front my kid loved (didn’t want to leave). Margie was the stylist and I had no idea what kind of haircut to ask for. Margie helped me with this and I have to say its the best hair cut he’s ever had. My kid loved the seat which was a car and watched cartoons most of the time during the cut. They take credit cards but TIPS aren’t excepted on credit card so bring a lil cash for tip. A lil pricey for a kids cut but you get what you pay for and she did a great job on my sons hair. I highly recommend this place for your child.

We had a great visit getting my daughter’s first haircut. Anna gave her a great cut — just how I envisioned it. Anna was great with her and gently guiding her to sit still, keep her head straight, head down, etc. She was very patient. We showed up about 30 minutes early (I am not very close and wasn’t sure how long it would take). Anna took us early — and did it with a smile. I love the little play area in front. Had we not been able to get in early, it would have been fine since the play area would have kept my daughter busy. During the cut, my daughter watched TV… but she more enjoyed watching herself in the mirror with fascination as her hair was cut. She was also in a purple jeep that served as the chair. Not crowded at all being late afternoon on a weekday. I also loved the smell of the detangler she used so I purchased a bottle and a bow barrette. The place is very cute and the price is reasonable. This package I had was a for a first haircut which includes a lock of my daughter hair and a first hair cut certificate (supposed to have a photo but their printer was broken). Since I didn’t get a photo on the certificate, they gave me a discount. I didn’t mind because I took so many photos on my phone anyway that will be better quality than a paper picture. I plan to go back here — and they are not close at all… but worth the drive. A friend recommended them since their daughter had her first haircut here. Glad I went!
