They saved the day!!! I found Placentia auto body on Unilocal and realized I have been driving by this place 4 years. I had horrible scratches down the hood of my brand new car, had no idea how. I took it in the owner Mike was amazing he gave me my quote immediately and was able to fix it the same day! I highly recommend this location, they do quality work the bottom line they do a wonderful job! All the people there are very nice customer service was awesome made it a lot easier in such a horrible situation… thanks guys 4 your help!!!

Best auto body shop I’ve ever been to. The owner, Mike, is the nicest mechanic I have ever met. They took a little longer than I would have liked, but he kept in contact with me the whole time. I don’t think I would ever go anywhere else.

Between my wife and I, we have taken our cars to this shop three times and every time we have had a great experience. Mike is friendly and up front about both the price of the repair and the amount of time that it will take to fix. The work is great and your car is clean when you get it back. If you want a great body shop look no further. The work is top notch and the prices are very fair. The owner, Doc Mike and his bodymen perform their work meticulously, with craftsmanship and pride. My vehicle was repaired quickly and the repaired finish can’t be distinguished from the original. I wouldn’t hesitate to take any of my vehicles to this shop in the future.

Placentia Auto Body is the best body shop in North Orange County by far. In July last year I bought a 1994 Mercedes SL320 Roadster and began restoring it to new condition. The final process would be to repaint the hood and front bumper so I needed an expert color match, this is a rare and expensive car and just as rare is the Mercedes color.
I have seen a lot of Dr Mikes work at Placentia Auto Body as my favorite Mexican restaurant is across the street from his shop. I asked if he could do the job and he explained the hood had deep and paint damage and would need stripping down to the metal and the bumper would have to come off and stripped also. His price was very fair so after the last mechanical work on the car was done I headed to Mike’s shop for paint and got side swiped on the passenger side. Pretty bad creases on the door and front fender.
So now the job required an expert metal man, as the parts for this car are not available. Mike repaired the door and fender with no Bondo and the metal is perfect as are the matching lines, the best metal work I’ve seen. When Mike and Carlos were done this car looked like new, a perfect color match with no orange peel anywhere. I stopped by on my way home each day to see the progress and get pics, I can say there were no corners cut here. These guys do amazing work at a very fair price. He gets a lot of special cars to work on and if you see his work I’m pretty sure you’ll agree:-) So now I have a brand new SL 320.

Well, everything started off great. Mike was friendly and they repaired my car in a fair amount of time, at least I thought they did. Mike pointed out that one of the replacement parts was defective and that he would order it ASAP. Then as soon as it came in, he paint it and call me for a quick install. OK great, no problem! Well yes problem! Two weeks had gone by and no word from Mike. So I gave him a call for a status update. His response, «Oh yeah I just ordered the part the other day.» Needless to say I wasn’t to happy about this, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Another two weeks go by, no word from Mike. I call again to ask what’s going on, Mike’s response, «Oh yeah, the part just came in the other day.» OK great, call me when it’s ready to install. Another two weeks go by and again, no word from Mike. I call again, Mike what’s going on, «Oh yeah, I have it in my shop and I need to paint it.» WTF? I thinking. Now I am infuriated and writing this review. Bottom line is, to date my car repair is incomplete, yet Mike gladly took my money and will take yours. I shouldn’t have trusted him and paid the balance in full until all the work was 100% complete. I know better, but I trusted him. Good thing I can dispute the charges with my Credit Union and put the problem back in his hands since he doesn’t seem to care about customer retention. In short, take your car elsewhere!

Mike was awesome. Gave me a competitive quote and quick turn time to fix the hood of my car. He also cleaned the whole car. I was pleased and wouldn’t hesitate to go back to him, but hope not to because being without a car sucks. I won’t hesitate to refer his services

I took my Acura here and an Accord for paint. They did a good job on color matching but for some reason they left scratches on the cars in other places. It was as if whatever they laid on the car to maybe sand the places down was abrasive and left giant scratches. I contacted him after this happened the 2^nd time and he actually cussed at me and was in denial. I will never take a car to him again. Very unprofessional attitude. Stay Away from this shop!

This place is the best, they do excellent work. The owner Mike really takes pride in his work and listens to customer input/​feedback. Will use in the future. They are the BEST!

I damaged the front end of my Nissan Pathfinder and took it to Dr. Mike. He did a FANTASTIC job fixing my vehicle. You can’t even tell that is was ever in an accident. It looked as good as new. Great customer service and overall great job!!! I would definitely recommend Placentia Auto Body to anyone. Thanks Dr. MIke!

This bodyshop is extremly good! My car was in collision and got to change driver side front door and fix some other scratch. The owner not only got everything fixed but also repainted my car, the whole car, within what insurance company issued which was not including repainting the whole car which I did in the bodyshop the insurance company related to. Price is reasonable. The most important thing was they did a great job and sent my car back like a totally new car. The owner was a policeman before. He is very dependable and very friendly. The only thing not perfect was you gotta wait the schedule time. The owner estimate my car and asked me to send my car back in a week. But they finish work very fast after sending the car to the body shop as scheduled. Absolutely 5 stars!
