Dick’s Lock & Safe

I found out about Dicks Lock n Safe when they came out to my school where I work at to replace door locks. So I asked for his card and set an appointment up with them to rekey my new house I just moved into. Randy and his wife Peggy were on time, in fact they were early. They replaced 3 locks added a bolt lock on one door, they were done in 45 min. Great price great service! Down to earth good people! I will use them again!

The locksmith industry is smarmy. The company’s listed online are mostly shell companies using bogus addresses with phone numbers that all feed into one dispatch. They absolutely prey on people in urgent situations where they’ve lost a key or locked them in their car. Refuse to overpay and call another locksmith, good luck, you’ll likely get the same dispatch. Dick’s is reliable, trustworthy and with consistently reasonable pricing — a light in what’s become a dark industry.

In late January we moved into a newly remodeled home. My wife suggested we change the locks for security reasons. Called Dick’s Lock and Safe based on Unilocal reviews. The owner, I believe his name is Randy, and his wife came out and re-​keyed our front door and re-​keyed our two garage doors to match a newly installed side door. They arrived on time, even early, and finished quickly. The price seemed fair and all the doors work well. We would definitely use them again.

Excellent customer service. I will be using this company for all my locksmith needs. I called with a small emergency and asked that they show up ASAP. I was given a time frame and I was told that they would do everything possible to get there sooner. 30 min before their scheduled time Danny arrives at my door to take care of the situation. There was no up sell. I was given an estimate and that was the cost. I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

After moving into a new house, I needed a locksmith on short notice. My sister recommended Dick’s to me. Danny came out the same day I called and did a great job installing all new locks on the doors. Highly recommend!

I have used Dick’s Lock and Safe a number of times, and have always been impressed with Danny’s professionalism, prompt response, and quality service.
My most recent service call was when we had a turn over in upper management, and we needed a spur of the moment lock change after he left at our LA office. I was literally notified the night before that I would need the locks changed first thing in the morning the next day. I called their locksmith Danny, and he showed up early the next day to change our locks, and made extra key copies for us for no additional charge. He was in and out very quickly, and allowed us to invoice the work so our company could cut a check.
Another added perk– they are mobile, and will come to you. I actually live in Orange County and work in LA, and I’ve used their services in both regions, for the same rate and quick response.
