Wonderful location! Very clean, salad bar is always clean and stocked. Staff is very kind and welcoming. We come here all the time and always have a fantastic time. Our pizza is always made exactly as ordered and delicious!

Great and outstanding customer service. I find it funny that the same people that come everyday expect to be waited on hand by employees that make 9 $ with NO tips. LOL I agree with the first review! Anyways clean and safe location. Recommend!

Ignore all these A-holes that complain about poor customer service at a kid’s pizza restaurant. Sorry guys, you aren’t going to be waited on hand and foot just because it’s your 4 year old’s birthday. If you want to be treated like a princess then go to Disneyland. If you want tasty, cheap(ish) pizza, loads of games for your kids to play, and giant $ 5 beers(so the parents can play) then go here. I happen to frequent this place all the time because my kids love it and all of my experiences have been outstanding. Sure I’ve waited at the counter a few times because it seemed like they were understaffed, and sure it seems like the Chuck E character is stoned most of the time and/or not really interested in doing his/her job, but that’s because IT’S A FREAKINGCHUCK E CHEESE. Complaining about the customer service here is like complaining about the food at McDonalds. The only thing that disappoints me here is that they don’t have TV’s playing Sunday football, thus my 4 star rating instead of 5. Also, I don’t know what manager people are complaining about but there is a gal, don’t know her name, but she takes very good care of us. She has given us free stuff out of the salad bar for our baby that wasn’t able to eat pizza yet, and once replaced a full beer for me without question when I claimed a kid ran by and knocked mine off the table(which was mostly full). I think that is pretty outstanding.

I echo the comments regarding the rude manager. She wasn’t very nice. There is a lack of customer service.

Just went here tonight(10⁄3). I haven’t been to a chuck e cheese in 10+ yrs and this was my first time at this location in Placentia. Pro: not too crowded on a Saturday night, tables seem to be clean. Cons: CUSTOMERSERVICE!!! If you want customer service, don’t expect it here. I know some hard working high school aged kids, but there wasn’t any work ethic with the kids who work here. Its just sad that they don’t care about their job. I stood at the counter to wait to order a coffee and i can see two employees on each side of me without acknowledging me even though we made eye contact. Then we were in line with other parties to redeem our tickets for prizes, again, employees saw us, but no acknowledgement. So what i realized was, if its not their job or work station, they won’t help you. So there is no team work involved either. This includes the manager herself. So, if you have time and patience, and don’t care about customer service, then this place is fine. My 5 yr old had fun and that’s what mattered at the time. But will i initiate to come back to this location, uh no. To the corporate office: i’m guessing corporate is involved in the hiring process somewhat, right? I would recommend you revisit your employee requirements. Similar kid places like Pump it Up and Seascape also hire similar aged employees and they are way more attentive than the employees at this Placentia location. I’m sure you know customer service is huge in your industry to maintain your visitors and their referrals to their friends and family. You can do all the commercials or even partnerships with big names like Disney Junior to bring in new customers, but without decent customer service, your bottom revenue will be hit hard. Good luck.

We recently celebrated our sons’ 4th birthday here and had a great time. Our party host, Liz, was attentive and friendly to our entire party. We were there on a Tuesday, so it wasn’t very crowded and all of the kids had so much fun playing games(without having to wait!). Chuck E. came out and spent some time with our little guys and they were thrilled. The food was good, as they have more offerings for adults now like ciabatta sandwiches and boneless wings. The restaurant and game areas were very clean and the birthday packages are reasonable… AND they do all the clean up! I will likely plan their next birthday here too.

When you don’t here kids cry or complain in this place it’s a good thing. Games work!!! The food is what’s expected of a children pizza parlor. The salad bar was always stocked with the ingredients and tasted fresh. The staff were nice, nothing to brag about, and the place was clean too.

Man, theses kid employees are texting all over. When they collect your tickets for your prize, they are texting next to the calculator. When you are needing assistance, you can find them, you guessed it, texting. Even when we were leaving, the girl barely lifted her head to check our stamp, then went straight back to texting next to the radio. These kids need a lesson on customer service or they’re destined for a career in fast food service.

I was so disappointed by the customer service. There was lack of common courtesy by the staff and manager on duty tonight. My family and friends went to celebrate my daughters birthday. And my daughter went into the ticket blaster and was not given a chance to get the 1000(ticket) coupon. I went to talk to the manager about it and she said that was not part of our package. That’s fine. But the attitude and then the rolling of the neck was unnecessary and rude. Especially from the manager. After that I felt that all the staff members were rude and not willing to serve us. I felt some staff members glaring at me. It was just uncomfortable.

Kids are being kids and having a good time. My son is having fun with his classmates. Thank you to the birthday boy and his parents! The parents had a choice of three different pizzas, better tasting then I remembered! There was Hawaiian, pepperoni and jalapenos, and pepperoni and sausage. The kids got goodie bags and funny straw drink cups. After lunch and cake the children all went to have fun playing games!

Went to this location after hearing about Chuck Es Big deal in which you get 250 tickets for purchasing a value deal. They had no idea what it was, even after I showed them the coupon and I only got 25 tickets. Also we never got to see Chuck E. Other than that it was nice, and my daughter loved it, but I just had to buy my daughter the bigger prize.

I’ve been to Chuck E Cheese’s around the United States and this is the one I enjoy the most… Clean, great service, and not too crowded; this on top of what every other Chuck E Cheese offers; good video games and good pizza.

took my kids after a doctor appt since it’s down the street. During the week and early afternoon and my kids had a ball. Only a few other kids there at the time. The place was much cleaner than other ones we have been too and the employees were polite. Would go again!

Have taken the kids to this one a few times now and have always had a good time. The employees are polite and very generous. My two sons didn’t have enough tickets for the toys they wanted(they were short by 25) but the young woman employee hooked them up anyway which made their day. Chuck E doesn’t come out to dance and throw tickets much, which is disappointing. The games are new and different from other restaurants which is cool. The play area is always very clean and well maintained.

This chuck e cheese is pretty bad. The pizza is not that good for the wait. All of the kids get out of control which I realize that kids will be crazy here but when one kid is punching another kid and another is stealing some other kids tickets the staff should do something about it. Also the bathrooms are so nasty, once I saw poop on the floor just sitting there. Its just not worth it to take your kid there because it is loud and annoying for the parents and kids don’t even have that much fun when somebody beats them up for their tickets. Never go here! P. S. I heard from somebody that their kid got a concussion here.

Do not play Simpsons pinball. One ball and game shorts or ends and says game over. Total ripoff. Sure, it’s a token but its crap!!! This CEC is well-spaced and wasn’t too crowded on a week night. The staff were like zombies however and the salad bar and drink machines were dirty. Maybe they should spend more time on the restaurant than on their cell phones.

I had a birthday party for my son here, and did all the ordering and reservations online. It was easy and everything was ready to go when we arrived. The hostess that took care of our party was very nice and took good care of us. It was a top-notch experience! Highly recommend! The food is one step above frozen pizza, but kids aren’t picky and neither am I. :) It is a little pricey, though, so unless you’re there for a party, my advice is to just go for the games and eat elsewhere. There are usually coupons available on the C.E.C. website and you can also sign up there to receive deals and coupons via email. This particular Chuck E. Cheese location has a lot of games that don’t work. It’s really, really, REALLY annoying! I was there today for a party and we kept losing tokens that were being eaten by machines that were broken(but without signs marking them out of order). I asked the boy working there for replacement coins twice, and he kindly gave them to me, but after the fourth or fifth time of getting ripped off by various token-eating games, I didn’t want the employees to think I was a coin scammer, so I didn’t say anything(grumble). I’ve been to other Chuck E. Cheeses that have better games(fully-functioning, I might add). This one is so-so.

CEC has come a long way from the days when the tickets were hand counted. While their prices are a bit high, you can always find coupons online. They give away extra tokens if your child brings in a report card or fills out one of CEC’s reading logs that you can also print online. Come early when they first open to avoid the crowd, enjoy a clean play area, and to get the freshest food. Come at night if you like the crowd and dirty tables/floors.
