I really wanted to like this place. I had two dresses shortened here for $ 16.25 a piece, totaling $ 33.50. Not exactly a deal when looking at quality competitors. So what did I pay for? None of the hems were rolled or finished properly which will lead to fraying of the cut material. One of the stitches ran off of the seam! There were no hem allowances, and both dresses were cut and shortened more than the 2 inches I asked for — so if this were even to be fixed, my dresses would have to be made even shorter which is unacceptable! I paid for this place to ruin two new, really nice dresses. The only thing that earned them one star was the cute old man at the counter. Go elsewhere …

I could sit in here all day and watch Bobby(Bram) push the button that makes the clothes go by on the moving coat rack thingy. Don’t judge, I’m infatuated with shiny things too. 6 bucks to get a suit dry cleaned, super cheap and a family owned business that’s been at home on Mount Washington for over 60 years! Yo Bobby, what’s Martinizing?

I love these privately owned businesses were the owner still greats you like you’re one of his long lost cousins! I walk in and immediately the older gentleman is like«hey you, how’s it going, when do you need this ready by?» Usually I need it like yesterday… which obviously isn’t too realistic. Thankfully this place always has great turnaround with your clothes being finished in 2 business days. My clothes come back fresh and stain free. I need a good dry cleaner in my life because I admit… I’m kinda sloppy. Various food particles are gone from said clothing every single time. Bram’s job is done… until the next spillage.
