* Babies potty train quicker when using cloth.
* It costs less monetarily and ecologically.
History
Established in 1998.
Immediately after seeing the number of disposable diapers one baby uses in it’s first years, I imagined the image of the mountains of waste that was disposed of in the landfill from one-time-use (disposable) diapers. (A very «odiferous» picture.)
A Little Behind has provided service to thousands of families in Pittsburgh, PA and WV using sustainable methods of delivering and laundering, including making our own eco-friendly, hypo-allergenic laundry soap.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
I live by the 3 R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, with Reduce being foremost important). And A Little Behind became my way to help other’s live by it also.
Upon seeing the need for a great reduction in landfill waste I decided I could play a bigger part by greatly reducing the number of paper and plastic diapers being discarded by offering an alternative diapering method.
In the fall of 1998, while being a full-time college student and single mom, A Little Behind was born. I not only offered a cloth diaper service but wanted to empower people to learn how easy it is to launder their own diapers, by offering community education at fairs, the libraries, and through community groups.
