It’s pretty much what you’d expect from a salon in the mall. None of the nails look the same and there’s air bubbles under each of them. Kinda annoyed I didn’t say something while I was there but I had already asked him to redo the thumb nail because the air bubbles were so bad and it looked the exact same when he was done. Won’t go back, will probably look for a better salon in the area

I was Unilocaling to see salons around my area and this salon happened to pop up… I was going to Robinson mall anyways and although there were bad reviews I decided to check it out on my own and decide for myself. I signed in picked a color and had a seat waiting to be taking care of… When it was my turn I told them I wanted to do a full set and a pedicure… They shaped my nails exactly how I wanted them and although I’m very picky everything I asked for I received… My pedicure was amazing although I didn’t get the technicians name I will most certainly be coming back… Moral of my story don’t just judge based on what you read.

Why Tyoko? Why go to a place with 1 star? Yes, that’s exactly what I asked myself when it was over. To their credit, both of the ladies that did me and my daughter’s pedicures were nice. I was on the verge of aggravation when they asked twice if I wanted a manicure after I wrote on the clipboard, told the person who asked me to pick my polish and told the nail tech when I sat down. She seemed a little irritated at first when I repeated I only wanted a pedicure which was odd but it didn’t last long. The massage was a tad bit weak in comparison to other nail shops. The polish job looks like it was completed by an amateur and I had to point out that parts of my nails were missing polish. I take care of my feet and they don’t look like knuckles or tater tots so it’s not difficult to see my toe nails. After the polish, she attempted to put my sandals on which became a disaster but no need to make a scene since I can clean them. I just expect more attention to detail. At this point in my life, I don’t want to hoot and holler about poor service all the time. Honestly, I just know where not to go and this place is, unfortunately, on that list. For the convenience, it was great but you get what you don’t plan for. If they get their act together, it could be an awesome shop.

The only positive thing about this place is they accommodate you quickly. I went in for a manicure and pedicure and walked out(nails done and dry) 30 minutes later. My technician was rude and more interested in her phone and the television than providing good service. Highly disappointing. Save your money and go somewhere else.

It was my first time and the last time going to that salon. The girl that did my nails were extremely rude. I got a full set there and the acrylic flipped the next day. It was a terrible experience and pricey. I regret spending my money there and will never patron again!

This place is TERRIBLE! Do not get your nails done here. There are way too many other options to have to deal with the horrible service at this salon. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The second day my gel manicure was chipping and although the tech said my feet were dry(bc she was rushing me out) they actually weren’t and got ruined when I put my shoes on. When I wanted a fix the entire staff made a big deal of it by snickering and just being plain rude. The«fix» was worse then the original job but I didn’t want to ask again so I just ran out of there. Horrible place!

Was not happy with the overall experience. If you want quick and not concerned about how well they look, this is the place. To start, you sign in on a sheet and there’s more yelling back and forth about who’s free(a receptionist of some some sort might be nice). They separated my young daughter and I(so not the point of bringing her). They did not talk with either of us. Tech was not happy because I wanted just manicure(not shellac) and rushed me through. They do not have a system to check you out or followup. Just left us at the drying station(ie a table with lights). Went to the desk to check out and they just took my card and swiped. Did not say the cost or anything. Would not recommend if you want a decent manicure and respected as a paying customer.

was killing some time in the mall and decided to get my nails done. i walked into avalon to get a manicure and wrote my name on the wait sheet. there was another lady before me who requested a manicure as well. the first thing i noticed was how SMALL the place was. they only had 4 chairs in the waiting area and they area where you sit and let your nails dry was directly in front of the chairs. so its been about 10 minutes now and this other lady walks in, signs her name on the sheet and then gets called back! the lady who was in front of me spoke up and the one tech said she was a regular? maybe this should have been my hint to leave … ANYWAYYY. shortly after me and the other lady are called back and seated. i sit at the station for 5 minutes and finally some skinny guy sits in front of me and starts taking my polish off. no hello, how are you or anything! and then he kept giving me this weird looks. after he takes my polish off he puts the handwarmers on me and gets up and starts to do someone elses nails. okkkkk. so i sit there for about 7 minutes. and finally some bald guy comes and moves me yet again to another station. i asked for a french manicure, with my nails square and the white tip thick. he said ok. then asked me if i wanted fake nails or a pedicure? NO I WANT A FRENCHMANICURE! it was the shortest manicure i ever had(i get manicures every 2 weeks .) in the end. he shaped my nails very nice but my paint job sucks!!! the white tip on my left hand is WAY thicker than my right hand. when i brought it up he said he didnt have time to fix my nails even tho the salon was empty pretty much??? the total cost was 22 $. i didnt tip and i always tip very very well(i work as a waitress) and i didnt feel bad about not tipping. even my non observant boyfriend noticed the different in the tip thickness :(stay away! they rip you off.

Not the best place to get nails, even though it’s conveniently in the mall. Yes they do the basics, but they’re not careful. In fact, my nail technician nicked me a few times when cutting my cuticles. When she applied the polish, it wasn’t smooth and all over my cuticles. For $ 17, I want a great manicure that can do better than myself. Instead I got under average nails.
