After calling and emailing multiple fabricators with no helpful responses, I happened to find a link to Concord Sheet Metal. They were helpful, timely, and the quote for my stainless steel island counter top was the most competitive pricing I had received(less than half the cost of a fabricator on the peninsula)…and the finished product looked absolutely fantastic, in addition to being ready 1 week earlier than expected. The welding at the corners were seamless and extremely well done. I will be installing this myself, with very helpful advice and guidance from the team at CSM. Very pleased, and very highly recommended!

My wife and I were looking at island countertop and sink ideas for our recently remodeled kitchen. We found CSM on Unilocal and liked the customer pictures of their metal work. We contacted CSM, talked with Randy about what we were looking for and he advised us on pros/cons of each material as well as the services CSM typically provides. We opted to go with a stainless countertop, custom built in sink, and have CSM supply and wrap the steel over the sub-surface material. We had CSM do a field measurement to ensure everything would fit correctly and confirm some assumptions about dimensions, strength of overhangs, fastening to the island cabinets, plumbing fit, etc. Randy beat his promised delivery date by one week which made us super happy. The delivery was quick and easy, the driver helped us offload and dry fit on the island. The countertop and sink fit perfectly. When we unwrapped the countertop both my wife and my first impressions were«WOW»! The craftsmanship was superb. The smoothed corners, wrapped edges, faucet hole, custom sink, and brushed top were just amazing. We later fastened the countertop to the island ourselves(very easy) and completed the faucet/disposal hookup. Everything fit to exact dimensions. We couldn’t be happier with the countertop, sink, and CSM.

If you’re looking for a reliable, creative, ethical and collaborative partner for your project, Randy and his team is it! Once we decided stainless steel countertops would be the sympathetic choice to the original aesthetic of our 1960’s mid-century modern home, as well as be the focal point our kitchen restoration, we set out to find a fabricator that understood this mission. After a few frustrating meetings and deadends with other fabricators, a further internet search surfaced Concord Sheet Metal. A bit deflated, I blindly sent an email, with my plans, through CSM’s website. Surprisingly, the next day I got a reply – and an optimistic one at that – from Randy. After several phone calls reviewing the plan and and an invitation to visit the facility, I was feeling great. To say that Randy understood our vision is an understatement. This was not to be a simple rectangular piece; our countertop was caling for a boomerang shape at one end. Not only did he listen, he enthusiastically offered options we didn’t know existed. We also expressed our concern and appreciation for expert craftsmanship and Randy reassured us that his team would not fail us. After accepting the quote, that was consistent with the other vendors, we took the plunge. During the fabrication process, Randy was in constant communication with us from concept to completion. We are so impressed with the quality work, we asked CSM to quote on an architecturally inspired range hood. Randy was excited by the challenge – one that two metal artists refused as too complicated. You can’t go wrong with Concord Sheet Metal. They’re the real deal.

I think the Wessels are good people, but I wouldn’t use them again. Ron neglected to tell me of a previous accident he had transporting his super-thin copper stock and this lead to another one for me. A gust of wind crumpled the stuff, destroying my order. He then charged me 50% for this. My job ran over as a result costing extra for scaffold rental, labor etc. Were that not enough, he agreed to hold my final extra check(the one subsidizing his carelessness) for 10 days, then rushed it through immediately. They cost me quite a bit of money… and my sense of trust.
