Stefani has colored my hair three times now, and I’ve absolutely loved it every single time! I went from jewel tone rainbow, to my little pony pastel rainbow, to a rainbow shade in between and she is a MASTER of all fun/​party hair colors. I have looked for YEARS for someone who was able to achieve the look I wanted and I’m so happy I’ve finally found someone who can! She talks you through anything you might be concerned about, and really cares that her customers walk out looking exactly how they want. She also did my wedding hair, and it was SO PERFECT. She worked so hard to achieve the look I wanted, and managed to make my updo look voluminous without me having to have extensions. MAGIC. I really can’t recommend her enough.

Stefani and her team are absolutely amazing. I had found her on Unilocal and contacted her to do my bridal parties hair for my big day based off of her reviews. She definately loves up to the hype. All of her girls were absolutely amazing. They were super sweet and very professional. They understood my vision for my big day and I was so excited when they were done. I have gone EVERYWHERE for my hair and I’m so happy I was referred to Kristen from a friend. She knew exactly what I wanted, gave me a few options to work with and left me really happy with my end results! Even when I move out of the area I’ll still be coming back to get my hair done with Kristen!

I had my hair done by Kristen and she was so kind, patient and professional! I came in with many different hair ideas that were all over the place, but wanted something that would let me grow out my hair/​not get touched up super often. Kristen had just the idea and I am so happy with my hair! She explained to me each step of the process, double checked with me if I liked the colors she was mixing, and gave me future recommendations on what I could do with my hair. Amazing customer service and amazing work!

I have been going to Kristen for a few now. She is amazing. She is quick and efficient with all of her services. I took my daughter to get highlights and a haircut. The results were incredible. Going to a new salon is always nerve wracking but I am so glad that I decided on this one! It’s super cute and in a great location. Kristen is everything you want in a stylist: knowledgable, professional and a ton of fun! I went to sugar high studios with a crazy idea and no hope that it will turn out like I wanted it to, but I was so pleasantly surprised when Kristen did my hair in the fiery ombré I asked for. It looks amazing! Hell, it looks better than I had thought. She is very talented and gentle, even with my crazy thick curly hair. I am so happy with the results and will definitely be coming back.

I have gone into salons before and asked for an inch to be trimmed off my waist length hair. I have walked out with shoulder length hair, which is not what I wanted at all. I started going years without getting my hair cut because I was afraid of someone hacking it off. With that being said, I am really protective of my hair and who cuts and colors it. I have been having Stefani do my hair for over five years. I drive almost four hours from the Bay Area to see her. That is how much she is worth it! She is amazing with bright funky colors along with normal every day colors. She never cuts my hair shorter than I want but I will let her if she says it needs to be trimmed more because I trust her. She really values the integrity of your hair and does everything she can to make you happy. Talented, down to earth, skilled, amazing. What more could you ask for in a hairstylist?
I have followed Stefani from three different salons to her newly opened personal salon. Her new salon is absolutely amazing and stylish. It is convenient and very accessible. I am always extremely pleased every time I get up from her chair. Stefani is the utmost professional and has created an extremely comfortable atmosphere for her clients. If I ever end up getting married, Stefani is the only one I would have do my hair and makeup. I cannot imagine letting anyone else touch my hair. We always have fun and I only wish I was closer so I could get my hair done by her more regularly!

I am from LA originally and before I found Sugar High (Stefani) I would actually drive 6 hours for my cut, color, style, etc. I found Stefani through her awesome reviews and booked her for my wedding! And I am so lucky I did. I felt so at ease with her (and on such a stressful high energy day she was like a rock to me) Stefani was calm, on time, kind, and of course did an INCREDIBLE job with my hair and makeup. I’ve been a client of Stefani Picchi (owner) for about a year. I had just moved to town and was needing to find a stylist. I sure hit the jackpot with Stefani. I realize her specialty and reputation is for women’s services such as color correction, extensions, makeup, weddings, etc, but she’s got skills for the guys too. This will be the third location I’ve followed her to and I’m so happy that she’s finally the owner of her own salon and not renting a chair from someone else. By the way, I love the new location in Shell Beach. Just the drive getting there with the beautiful, serene ocean views, already puts me in a good mood each time I arrive for my appointment.

I have been going to Stefani for all my hair needs for years. Believe it or not, she’s so good, I drive all the way from the Bay Area to get my hair done with her! She is fast, efficient, and her work is always amazing. Even though we bleach my hair to get the colors super vibrant, my hair ends up softer and healthier after the bleaching than it’s original state.
Sugar High is right on the beach, and such a relaxing vibe on the inside. The rustic 50s-​esque décor is very welcoming, warm, and done really well. Stefani knows how to provide an environment, and make everyone feel like they’re family. Worth the three and a half drive every time. No question about it.
