History
Established in 1994.
Shannon was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana where she attended 12 years of parochial school. College life began at LSU majoring in Interior Design and later graduated with a bachelor of science from Southeastern Louisiana University. Shannon was first licensed as a Realtor in 1994 in Louisiana where she specialized in historic homes, rural properties as well as income property.
She moved her family to California in June of 2004, missing the Katrina catastrophe by a little over one year. Shannon’s father was stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base years before she was born. Her mother always told her «there was no better place to live than the Central Coast of California». They spent most summer vacations on the central coast where she quickly discovered why her mother was so enamored by this gorgeous area of the United States. Her parents ultimately retired here and she followed with her two sons Ethan and John.

Business Owner
My name is Shannon Bowdey and I have been a central coaster since 2004. I love the Central Coast and feel blessed every day I am here. My sons and I moved from New Orleans, La. following my parents who retired here. They fell in love with this area when my father was stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base when my parents were first married over 50 years ago. We spent every summer on the central coast on our family vacations where my mother was a firm believer and this was the perfect place to live.
My husband and I live in Arroyo Grande and love the central coast. We have five children between the two of us, one happy dog named Biscuit and three kitties on our little micro farm.
