Dr. Thy and his staff are wonderful! They have such positive and kind energy. Everyone is professional, thorough, and skilled. I have been with Dr. Thy for over 5 years and if I never have another dentist my whole life that would be amazing. Dr. Thy is the only dentist that I have ever felt comfortable and happy with. And that’s because him and his staff are just genuinely great people.
Dr. Thy isn’t trying to make a quick buck off of you or push services. I can’t tell you how many dentists told me I needed braces as a child and actually made me feel bad about it, when I never thought they were a problem. Come to find that when I am interested in spending money to correct my teeth, he explains the process but also reassured me that my teeth are great and appreciated natural teeth too. It just goes to show that he’s not after your money but really cares for your health and overall well being.

If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr T! I have been seeing Dr. T since he took over this practice several years ago. He is professional, extremely knowledgable, and always makes me feel comfortable at his office. I have had many procedures here and have been happy with the results of all the work. The office manager/​assistant Celeste and dental hygienist Valerie are also top notch. I continue to drive here from Oakland because they are so awesome!

I’ve been with Dr. Thy since my previous dentist, Dr. Watson, retired. I am extremely happy with his care. I’ve had a number of dental procedures in the last 5 years, and Dr. Thy’s skill is evident in the outcome. The whole office staff is great! I highly recommend his practice!

I had been going to Dr. Watson for 25-​plus years. Considerate dentist that Dr. Watson is, he made sure that his business would have a professional and competent successor in Dr. Thy, and I am more than satisfied — I am thrilled that he is my new dentist.
Not only that, the transition has been excellent… as the office staff is the same as before with Dr. Watson… Terry, Celeste, Valerie and Sara have been there for years, and are so wonderful to work with each of them.
As for Dr. Thy, I immediately felt at ease. Very gentle hands, very thorough. friendly, easy and approachable to talk to. He has upgraded the office with new technology so that x-​rays, etc, are digital and immediate. I have had to have a molar removed (I am in my late fifties), but not without a thorough consultation and explanation of other options, giving me my choices and my ultimate decision. The extraction was virtually pain free and quick. Like the other review, he even called me in the evening to see if I was OK. He made himself available by phone or email anytime, as I later I called him up with a followup question.
Dr. Thy is very experienced and capable. Excellent educational background. He has had extensive experience prior to taking over this practice. He performs a broad range of services right in his office, including cosmetics, whitening, and implants. I also am having an emergency broken front tooth repaired, and the appointment was scheduled immediately and conveniently.
Will miss dear Dr. Watson, but very, very pleased with Dr. Thy and looking forward to continuing my visits with this office!

I worked as a dental assistant many years and really expect a professional and gentle dentist. I have been going to Dr Watson for many years as was sad to see him retire but he did pick an excellent replacement with Dr Thy. He is very gentle and has excellent dental skills. I recently broke a front tooth and he fixed it to look just as natural as my original tooth. I highly recommend him for any of your dental needs and his staff, Hygienists, Dental Assistant and Office Manager are all very professional.

I was pretty devastated when my regular dentist, Dr. Watson, announced his retirement last year and introduced Dr. Thy as his successor. I was ready to announce a boycott and swear off dentists forever. However, Dr. Watson made sure that the transition went as smoothly as possible. Also, I knew in my heart that Dr. Watson would not pick just anybody to succeed him… it’s not in his character. It was on that basis that I gave Dr. Thy a chance.
It was only last week that I had the opportunity to have some dental work done. I must say that, in my opinion, he has done his predecessor proud. He was just as meticulous as Dr. Watson. His bedside manner was also reminiscent of Dr. Watson’s. He made sure I was as comfortable and pain-​free as possible. He even made a follow-​up phone call that evening to make sure I was doing fine. Dr. Watson could not have picked a better successor. Dr. Thy may not yet be as experienced as Dr. Watson, but I am willing to stick around and grow old with him :)
By the way, I am so glad he retained Dr. Watson’s staff… Terry, Celeste, and Sara are awesome!!! They’re the nicest, most professional staff you could ever meet.
