Dr. El Ghaoui is by far the best dentist I have ever sat in the chair for! She has done a lot of fillings on me and I have to say, I did not have any pain! She is gentle and a true perfectionist! Two traits that are hard to find in a dentist. Dr. El Ghaoui made me feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure. There are «good» dentists, and then there are «great» dentists. She is truly great at her craft, has true passion for what she does, only gives her patients the absolute best, and treats you as if you were family. I had 6 fillings done in one sitting, and have to say… I was so scared and anxious! But I did not have pain when she gave me the numbing injections, and made sure I did not feel a thing. She made sure I was calm throughout the procedure and comfortable. Felt as though I was in the best hands possible given the situation. If anyone is looking for a dentist that is honest, does not rush through treatment, does high quality dentistry, and is warm and caring, then I highly recommend Dr. El Ghaoui.

My five-​year-​old son recently came to Dr. Feriel El Ghaoui’s office to have several cavities filled. Having been through the process myself when I was a child, the thought of him enduring it was a little disturbing. No one likes to see their children suffer, so, I was greatly relieved when she took such good care and was so gentle with my son, that it was a benign event. He was just fine and did not complain about having to come back to have several more filled a week ago.
Everyone at the office was very pleasant also.
If you have a little one that needs some dental care, I highly recommend Feriel. She’s great with kids and her work is meticulous. I am pretty sure that she is as caring and meticulous with grown-​ups as well!

Dr. El Ghaoui is an artist! I had to repair the composites on my front teeth that had been chipped many years ago. The composites were worn and yellowed, so we decided to go with a newer and better technology: porcelain veneers. Dr. El Ghaoui is a perfectionist and she is also very gentle. I get so many compliments on my «beautiful smile.» No one knows that the two front teeth are veneers!

After years of being with Dr. Boyce, I was disappointed in Dr. Ghaoui. I didn’t feel comfortable or the family atmosphere as I did with the previous practice. I tried to staying but I ended up going to another dentist.
When I was first met the new dentist, she wanted to give me braces. BRACES!!! i felt like she was kind of trying to be pushe. My teeth is perfect. I came from Fairfield to see Dr. Boyce but I will not go to Dr. Ghaoui.

Dr. El Ghaoui is an excellent dentist and I highly recommend her as a member of your health care team. When I received Dr. Boyce’s letter informing me of his retirement and that Dr. El Ghaoui was taking his practice over, well I delayed going in for regular care to which now regret. When I ran into problems with my teeth she and her great staff were there to help. The equipment was modernized, her approach very straight forward and I felt well cared for as they fixed me up and showed me the additional work I needed with no pressure.
I am well aware that there are good and bad doctors in every speciality but trust me, Feriel El Ghaoui is a good one and a really nice person too.

I am writing this on behalf of a dear friend Barbara H. who does not have a Unilocal account, nor wants one. These are her words;
I was a bit apprehensive at first as this Dr. took over my prior dentist Dr. Boyce’s office, and I did not want to get «forced» into a professional relationship with just anyone.
As we all know, dental work is not something that we enjoy or want any sort of compromise. My prior dentist was very good, and I was not prepared nor willing to settle for less. With that being said, I was very impressed from day one!
First off the staff were all very competent, polite, pleasant, and professional.
Second, and very importantly in a dental environment, was the answering service and it’s ability to contact the Dr. Ghaoui. I had a sudden problem with a prior filling from long ago, and I called the answering service an a Sunday, and within the hour they called me back saying that they got a hold of Dr. Ghaoui and suggested that I come into the office first thing Monday morning to get evaluated and get the problem taken care of. To me this is very personalized exceptional service and care! I really appreciated it. Dr. Ghaoui has made me feel very comfortable, has been very professional, pleasant, made good logical recommendations, takes the time to explain all services and procedures, and was not pushy in selling optional care.
I highly recommend Dr. Ghaoui to anyone in the area!

Dr. El Ghaoui has taken over for Dr. Boyce who retired. Dr. Boyce was someone our family trusted and we are completely satisfied with his choice of replacement, Dr. Feriel El Ghaoui. Her office staff, some we’ve known for a long while, are professional, welcoming and friendly. My husband and I like to keep our business in Pinole and Dr. El Ghaoui’s office is 5 minutes from our home making appointments very convenient.
At my first exam, I found Dr. El Ghaoui to be very professional, friendly and very approachable. She noticed that my teeth were crowding and recommended I see an orthodontist for a consultation. I am now nearing the end of my orthodontic treatment and am looking forward to healthier teeth and great smile. I’m so glad I took her advice. My husband just had his 20 year old bridge replaced and Dr. Feriel made sure the new bridge was perfect. She and her staff work with us helping keep us on track with insurance coverage and space out needed dental work.
I am a cancer survivor so I appreciate the new digital x-​ray equipment. You can now visit the very personable hygenist, have x-​rays, view them and have your teeth cleaned without leaving the chair.
We have been seeing Dr. El Ghaoui for over year, as well as my 88 year old mom. She has our complete confidence.

Recently as I was not fully satisfied with my current dentist, I decided to visit Dr El Ghaoui which I had know socially for a while but never used as a dentist.
I had to have my 2 front teeth fillings changed because it had just broke. Dr El Ghaoui did a superb job as my current smile would attest. She spent a great deal of time with me explaining all my options and never did I get feeling that she was pushing for a option that would be better for her as opposed to for me, the patient! In fact I ended up choosing a composite filling which was not the most expensive options yet which required a great deal of dentist mastery to achieve… wish you could see the result!
She spared no time making sure the color matched perfectly and the shape and fit was perfect.
What I liked the most about my whole interaction is that Dr El Gahoui was that she was totally free of the arrogance sometimes found with some medical professional. For example a few years ago I had a knee surgery with a big shot surgeon at Stanford hospital and I was really embarrassed by how this Dr. treated the hospital staff (I’ll keep his name quiet but he was the surgeon of the 49ers). At the other end of the arrogance/​inflated ego spectrum Dr El Gahoui showed great concern about her staff. For example she asked for the cosmetic opinion of her assistant several times, making sure the color was right and that the overall aesthetic was perfect: after all getting the view point from the copilot seat might be a good idea!
In all I have only praises for the service I have received with Dr El Ghaoui. Now when I learned that she received her dental degree not only by the American Board but by the French and the Algerian board of dentistry, I guess it helps understand why she is so good as a dentist and so kind as a human!

I live in Berkeley, and was first referred to Dr. Feriel el Ghaoui a few months ago. I’ve only written one other review on Unilocal,and because of the high quality of her service and very professional staff, I had to sing my praises about Dr. Feriel.
When I came into the office I was greeted by a smile, efficient paperwork, and was seated in less than 10 minutes. The dental assistant was careful, as i can be quite nervous on the dental chair. When Dr. Feriel came in she kept me at ease, letting me know what she was looking at and what she was working on.
She happily answered all of my questions with deep knowledge, and I left the office feeling great about the work I got done. I highly recommend her.

I have been a client fror more than a year now. I like Dr. Feriel. She does not only care about me but she also provide the right service at the right price. I like her a lot. Dr Feriel El Ghaoui is definitively the denstist I go for. She has great equipment and her hospitality is just perfect. I needed to feel comfortable when I go there 2 or 3 times a year. I just started seeing Dr Feriel El Ghaoui recently but she is my favorite dentist of al times… Service and hospitality are just amazing, the kind that I needed to feel comfortable in my dental chair. And I am not about to forget the laughing gas. please more laughing gas next time!!!
