Outstanding performance from the staff, they are always helpful and you can take classes. They are more then will to get the grains for you or you can get then your self.

The Beer and Winemaker’s Pantry just keeps getting better. I’ve been going there for many years and it is clearly the best place in Pinellas to get supplies. The staff is friendly and helpful, and can order you anything that is not already on their well-​stocked shelves. Kits are fresh and so are the grains. Yeast and hops are kept properly and they stock a fairly wide variety. They do not (yet) stock a lot of hardware such as brew-​pots, pumps, burners, plumbing parts, etc.

As a new (ish) home-​brewer, finding out shortly after I started that we had a local store was incredible. Not only that, but it’s an outstanding store to boot! Staffed with knowledgeable and friendly people, Beer & Winemaker’s pantry has everything you need to feed your addiction of concocting the perfect beer (not to mention everything and more you need to make home-​made wines as well!).
Since I’m still a bit new to the homebrew world, I stick to the kits that they have in-​store. They carry kits all across the board, allowing you to create almost anything from the basics like an amber ale all the way to some more interesting brews like whiskey stout or an imperial blonde. They also don’t mind taking the time to talk you through the process of trying something new. I attempted my first ever hard cider based on a quick lesson they gave me and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to.
For the more experienced brewers, they have a huge in-​house recipe book to help inspire if you don’t already have something in mind. Once you know your plan, they will help you run your own fresh grains through the mill to take home and produce some of the finest wort outside of a professional microbrewery.
In additon to all of the personal touches they have very reasonable prices; carry everything you need including ingredients, equipment, bottles of all sizes; and even offer weekly winemaking classes to get you started.
We’re etremely lucky to have a store like this in our area. Now get out there and brew!
