Tommy’s Original World Famous Hamburgers

How you out of yellow chili peppers? That’s what makes everything taste so good, it sure as hell ain’t the sloppy dog food on the top that sets it off.

There’s a really cute worker there named Lucy works hard and makes sure she gets ur order right every time I go I ask for her definitely will be going back and ordering my usual

Very Disappointing.
I ordered my cheeseburger and requested for it to be plain. I specifically said, just the meat, and the chili cheese. Being that is was a combo, #2, I also asked for regular fries, and a side of chili-​cheese.
Along with that combo, I asked for a side order of small chili cheese fries.
Now let me tell you what I opened up when I got home…
A cheeseburger with everything… mustard, onions, pickles, and tomatoes. Chili cheese fries. And a side order of chili-​cheese.
Not only was the cheeseburger not plain, but I did not get my regular fries. (Although they charged me for my whole order.)
Now, I go to Tommy’s quite often. Typically I check my food to make sure it is all there before I drive off. But being that the box was heavy and full, I was confident that my order was correct and complete.
It is VERY FRUSTRATING to get home and realize that not only is my order wrong, but I’m missing fries.

Do you think this is worth 17 bucks?

This place totally sucks! Here to order the 70 cent anniversary special – chiliburger and soft drink –the drive through and walk in line was pretty long! I pulled up to the window to order the anniversary special and those suckers said ‘only the tommys in L.A. Is honoring that! Note to tommys Pico Rivera – you just lost my business to the LA Tommy’s! You suck!

It happened again folks. This time I have the girls name, Isela. Knowing that you argued with me about using my card as a credit card and forcing me to use it as debit, she wanted to argue about it. She said why don’t you call if you have a big problem about it and talk to the manager Monday through Friday. So I asked her if there was a manager on duty. I believe her name was Marybelle, but she came to the window and I told her what happened not only this time but the previous four times. She agreed with me that it could be used as credit but when I told her what she said about only debit and take it or leave it she didn’t look happy. In fact she agreed with me about pushing the button and just making it credit. Then to top it off I got home and looked and I’m missing my chili cheese fries and I know it was intentional. I am tired of this woman and her incompetence and her bad attitude. I’m not going back again for another month or so if ever. This is why I go to other locations not to be bothered with this woman. Now I’ve been ripped off for my chili cheese fries and five bucks and I’m not driving back. This chick is a joke and so is this location now except for Maribel who if it weren’t for her this would be a 2 star review. I’m telling you if this chick doesn’t get the boot they are going to lose Serious Coin.

I Love my Chili Cheese Fries, they are so addicting. I always get them with extra Chili. The burger is good too, especially because it also comes with their famous Chili, but I go for the Chili Cheese Fries, they steal the show

Fave! It’s so delicious ! Chili cheese fries for me please ! The employees aren’t the friendliest but the food makes up for it.

So I really like this place but come on the prices are really outrageous! It’s a burger with chili on top. It’s not like there’s bacon or avocado in it. Just a thin patty with chili on it. It’s a good «treat» every now and then but I will go somewhere else that’s a little lower in price.

How hard is it to not put chili in a burger? Wow… talk about lack of attention. Thanx for nothing!

Man, I loved this place so much. But after last night and throwing up all day today I can say I’m not going back. I don’t mind diarrhea, but throwing up hell no. I had one more burger left over from the night before mom was about to eat it until she caught a foul whiff of what she claims was «rotten» never again. The horror the horror.

Come on. its Tommys! I love the original on Rampart the best, but this is my secondary spot. chili cheese burger and those yellow chili. a match made in heaven-​great– drunk or not-​gotta stop when near these 2 locations.

I love to get chili cheese fries from this place and a chili burger. Mmmm Just typing about it got me craving some!

My first Tommy’s experience, and it was a positive! I wasn’t a huge fan of the idea of a chili cheese burger, because it sounds way too heavy and messy, so I asked for my burger without chili on it. It was pretty delicious, but I will say that if anything, if was maybe a little dry, so I could definitely see how the chili would be a good addition. Might have to try it some time, we’ll see.
Anyway, in order to still get my chili fix, I got the chili cheese fries, and those were bomb. This is definitely NOT a healthy meal, but if you need a cheat meal, here’s a good one!

This really is a biased review because this place is a childhood favorite of mine. This is the place that made me know, I am fattie, a foodie, love all things oily, just like Tommy’s.
Tommy’s is a heart attack meal. This will make your esophagus layer thicker and every internal organ work harder, BUT it is all worth it. Tommy’s is of course famous for their chili burger and chili fries. The recipe is consistent in every restaurant.
I can never hate this place, no matter the location. I always get a single or a double nowadays and that can keep you full for the whole day. That is how thick the chili is. It is a great meal to feel like crap, but you know you’ve done it all for the food. I love this place. Thank you for the meal.

Elieen. She seemed like she needed a snickers today. We went through the drive through had two separate orders. She had an attitude from the get go. When she was giving us the change she accidentally dropped the change on the floor. She told us it’s under the car. Like it was our problem. When I told her to give us our change from the register. She gave us a stank face and said I guess. I’ve worked with food for more than 14 years. It’s just frustrating to see people who have no common sense. Like you dropped our money not us. So don’t give attitude.

The lines were long. My burger did not look like the photo on the wall. Had it not been for the yummy flavor I would have left.

Luv Tommy’s but can’t have it all the time. Diabetes just waiting to happen if you eat that kinda food often. Delish burgers.
I treat myself to a chili burger and fries from time to time.
Good customer service and pretty quick with orders. I always use drive thru.

OK I live only like a minute a way from Tommy’s so I come here a lot the best chilie Frye’s.

SLOWEST SERVICE ON EARTH! am at Tommy’s as we speak, I have waited 30 minutes just to get a simple hamburger and fries. The service is the slowest I have ever experienced in my entire life, this hamburger better have gold. I think the entire staff tonight was new, the food is okay, but not worth waiting that long for. If you are a consumer in the area, I recommend a different restaurant.

It’s tommy you should know what your getting. Not bad just don’t ever eat this after a night of binge drinking.

It’s all about the chili cheese fries! My boyfriend loves Tommy’s. He would take me but I refused to eat there. So he would get Tommy’s and I would get In-​n-​Out. But one day my cravings kicked in and I ordered the chili cheese fries. BEST DECISION EVER! The chili was like no chili I had tasted before, which was a good thing. It was just right. They do need to add a bit more cheese. It’s always the first thing I run out of. If you go to Tommy’s get the chili cheese fries. If your lactose intolerant get the chili fries. The chili is what Tommy’s is famous for anyways. Right?

Overall bad experience window person was rude when taking order and also when we payed, if you’re looking for bad service come to this place

I wanted to try this location out. I haven’t been to a tommys in years since the original in Hollywood. The drive through was a mess and took forever. The guy said sorry but they were overwhelmed and backed up. Then while paying he screws up my cc transaction which I was not happy about. He apologized but still. Then upon getting home the whole order was wrong and not even my order. It was late so I decided not to go back. I wont come back to this location ever or any tommys for that matter now. Not satisfying or happy with service and food one bit :(

I forget how delicious this place is, Tommy’s Burger isn’t usually the first place i think about when i am craving something chili filled.
Definitely add extra cheese, for more of a cheesier bite, the staff is really nice, and what i love most about eating here is the fact that i can enjoy a mega triple chili cheese burger and chili fries and not feel disgustingly full and bloated. It surprised me!
Quality to its fullest!

I grew up on Tommy’s burgers (the one off Rampart.) It is still as good as the first time I tried it. My s/​o thinks the burgers got smaller… I say maybe we just got bigger.
So I introduced my daughter to the Tommy tradition last night. To be on the safe side, I ordered the chili on the side. Who knew you could do that? She has it in her mind that chili is the same as hot sauce.
Worst case scenario is that mommy or daddy will use the extra chili and make chili fries if she doesn’t like it, right? She tried a little… Liked it, but gave the rest to mommy! SCORE!
Lady at drive thru window was really accommodating with my order that included 3 chilis on the side.
Might as well get your money’s worth… and order the chili on the side of your plain burger since you are being charged for it anyway.

Did I really just do that to myself?! I don’t get the hype.

My wife and I love to come Tommy’s for their chili burger and their single and double cheeseburger including a Triple cheeseburger, etc. We often go to the Tommy’s in Pico Rivera but we like the Original Tommy’s on Rampart and Beverly the original shack. My favorite is the Double cheeseburger combo with a cherry coke my favorite drink that’s I order with my wife she got the chili boat and my father in-​law got a cheeseburger. The burgers looks and smell really good, I got double cheeseburger and I look at it wow what mess that’s a perfect Chile cheeseburger from the original Tommy’s a true classic, Tommy’s never disappoint me or my wife because their burger made order to made when you order, their chili is scratch made daily. Overall Tommy’s is true American classic that why we to come.

This place really is great as the other Southern California burger joint. After the larger and more popular Inn N Out which happens to have a location down the street great as well.
Tommys is all about their Chili which comes. on everything even their breakfast sandwich. The chili is super tasty and really adds flavor to anything it goes on.
My personal favorite is the double cheese burger and a large drink. I usally skip the fries they are great but if I going for the double cheese have to cut calories somewhere which is really a moot point here anyways.
The burgers are even better now that they offer ¼ patties super tasty.
Ps can add extra anything you like for no charge.

Tommy’s has my heart wrapped in chili & cheese. Best fast food chili cheese burger in town. Wienerschnitzel wishes they had what Tommy’s had. Good food, no nonsense. Yes, it’s bad for you. Yes, your cholesterol and blood pressure will shoot right up. Yes, it’s worth it.

This place is terrible, we found a hair in the the double cheese burger which was disgusting and I called them and all they can do for me was offer another burger with fries which probably would have another hair I am posting the picture because the hair is coming out the meat it is not like a hair could have possibly fell in the burger. This is ABSURD!!! First and last time ever!
