Hong Kong Express

This place didn’t have terrible food, but the two girls that work there are awful. Gossiping the entire time while «attending» to us. One girl was texting on her cell phone and had us standing there waiting for her to finish to even order food. Then I had to try and butt in her and her coworkers conversation about some girl, just to also ask for drinks. My god, awful place, never going there again.

This my favorite place the food is so good ! The meats have nerves, the egg rolls are delicious. Ever since I came here I have never been to any other place

The service was terrible. Rude staff. Unhappy employees who hate their job. And the orange chicken was too salty.

I think potatoes are cute and delicious. Though, I have cute back on carbs tremendously, I still sing the praises of Hong Kong Express, who serves the potato chicken.
While I cannot have potatoes very often, I do cherish my moments at Hong Kong, though I know they are fleeting, fleeting but precious.

This is the only Chinese fast food restaurant my family and I come to. When we have that Chinese food craving, we come here. We really like that the food is almost always fresh because a lot of people come and go specially during lunch and dinner hours. The ladies that serve your plates always pack your plate with food so you’re getting your money’s worth.
Down side of this place is the soda machine. I always ask for a cup for water and the water always taste worse than tap. They really need to replace the filter on that machine.

1) Sub-​Par food, You can probably find better quality dishes in Tijuana than this place
2) They Only 2 Stars because the rice was mushy, the broccoli was too soggy, and the beef was tough
3) I tried to give the leftovers to my dog… but he didn’t even want them :(

Ok food. If you’re craving Chinese food, it will do.

Five stars for the food, great for my taste had the wonton soup fresh vegetables hot. 1 star for the service, cashiers horrible some people don’t put there all in their work any more now a days no professionalism no matter what job you do always give it all you got. I guess social media and devices are more important. Cant it wait till lunch or after work? Come on guys

The girl who works in the front is sick as hell. Sneezing all over the food. She should stay home instead she is getting everyone else sick.

I come to Target quite often and I notice a Chinese restaurant. It was a long tiring day so I was too lazy to cook and I took some food home. The lady who took my order was nice and friendly. I order a combo B with orange chicken and bbq pork. What’s great is they have a special where when you order a combo it comes with a free soft drink. Overall the food is good and the price is good.

This place used to be my favorite local fast food Chinese spot. As of today I will never go back again.
I remember the food always being so fresh and flavorful… In today’s visit everything looked like it had been out for HOURS possible even re-​heated. It had this disgusting look to it dry and what not. Whatever I figured it’s gonna be good anyways. WRONG. It’s like they just pour a jar of minced garlic on to everything because that’s all there was in my food. It had no flavor and smelled awful. The egg rolls were stale and the service man. If the woman would lower the music and listen carefully I wouldn’t have had to have her dump my food a few times how hard it is to get 4 items right onto an plate? Will def not be coming back here I don’t know what happened to this place.

Let’s face it Pico Rivera can’t do chinese food and this is by far the worst restaurant in town. I ordered shrimp fried rice and got rancid shrimp and old dry rice. The smell of the rancid shrimp literally stunk up my brand new car! I opted for takeout so I just did not want to drive back and complain about it! Service is not bad but the food was horrible. The city should shut this dump down.

Nothing to rave about. Food needs some pick me up. Tables are clean, chairs are sticky, and service is mediocre. Upside, you can get food here, but don’t expect anything extrodinary.

Meh… service is ok. It’s fast food. Can’t really screw that up too much. The food doesn’t taste fresh. Flavor not horrible, but not as good as the average joint like this. Main complaint would be that the rice tastes stale. Chicken is not fresh. Vegetables are prolly your best bet

best Chinese food place i have ever been to. The portions are huge and the food always tastes good. they don’t skimp like panda does. The food is never stale like other Chinese fast food places. the best part is the noodles they are thick and tasty.

This would of been my second time at this establishment. Pretty clean, they have an A, so that’s always a plus in my book. Not really a fan, just the closest and cleanest next to panda express. Food is good I guess. I usually just get whatevers come out the freshest to avoid any stale food.

The food is good. It’s your typical over piled noodles with 2 sides for 5.99 or so with an extra pushy and rude female worker! That’s Hong Kong express for you.
I politely asked her for a side of teriyaki sauce and offered to pay for it. She said «I give you one!» But all hell broke loose when I asked for a second one! If looks could kill I would be dead! She reluctantly gave me another and tossed my receipt at me (well to my tray) and left so quickly I couldn’t even say thank you!

Ok so I’ve noticed that this place has had some bad reviews but it is just a quick service spot whose prices are what you go for. But even with that being the case this is one of the best Chinese food locations in Pico Rivera and Montebello. They are just like mall style quality and don’t get me wrong it is good. These items are well done and have great flavor. I have gone to this location before Unilocaling and I have gone over 20 times because it is next to the Walmart that I go to. So I definitely like their Orange chicken and so do the rest of my four family members. I also enjoy the teriyaki chicken that is grilled and not dry also their Kung Poa chicken is good also. I hope people will give it a shot and try to compare it to Panda Express not PF Chang’s and don’t forget about getting more bang for your buck.
