I work really close to this GameStop and just happened to stop in to see if they had a used game that I’ve been wanting. Antonio helped me and surprised me by telling me the game I want is actually on sale! He even helped me get some money that I had invested in from a GameStop in a previous state I lived in. I was able to get my brand new, on sale, Diablo III game, I upgraded to the the Pro membership card and I still had money left over so I out that toward a new game. I am always coming back to this store! Thanks!

Good service from the girl who helped me. Knowledgeable and polite. Nobody answers the phone. After commenting I called, but nobody picked up. Then the phone rang. Nobody cared. They just let it ring. 6 missed calls in a 10 minute period with two workers. Without great service they would have 1 star. Aweful training from management to let this happen!

Came here with my bf to buy a Wii system. I’ve been playing golf with some friends every Sunday and I’m obsessed. I want my own! Anyway, everyone of the workers were very friendly and helpful. We left with the Wii U, two games and two controllers. I’m a happy camper!

Up to this point I can’t remember not having a good experience at a GS, but this location is easily forgettable. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in and for the 15 minutes that I was browsing the games, not once was I offered any type of assistance. I thought saying hello when someone walks in is pretty standard because they do it at every other GS, but I guess I was wrong. I was looking through the games and they had a decent selection, but I couldn’t help but think some of the games might be a little overpriced. I saw a Titanfall used copy for $ 35 and a GTA V used for $ 55!!! I’m sure there was a mix up, but thought it was worth pointing out. Overall the lack of customer service that I have been accustomed to by other stores makes this place a sub par location. Good thing I only visited this place because I was in the area and not because I live close by and have to settle.

So I was happy to find a GameStop in Picco Rivera. They have the latest games and a great selection of used games at this location. I was looking for a certain game for the PS-3(Trinity Universe). So I came in to see if they had it. On my trip, I brought my DS and PSP. So I was checking the used game sections, to see if anything looked fun to play. The staff was very friendly and looked online at other stores for the game, I was looking for. They ended of finding the game for me, but it was all the way in Azusa. I liked the fact, that they went out of their way and wrote down directions on how to get there. That was hella cool. I’ll definitely be coming back here, the next time I’m in Picco Rivera. So this GameStop is close to me, which way convenient. I have been to others but I’ve always have had a good experience here. Associates are chill and helpful! I’m not sure about«knowledgeable» when it comes to there DLC, I’ve never asked. But they always do there best to assist. I’ve read a lot of these past reviews, and the majority are just whining about there own problems, not the store. So is it perfect? Maybe not to some, but I live in Pico and I’m used to that in stores around here. It’s just how it is.

Went their to buy a game today 12÷9÷13 One of the guys had bad vibe from what I felt. Had a red shirt I believe. Wouldn’t respond to my questions quick enough and was on his phone while helping us. And to top it off he gave me the wrong game. Bad customer service and retail only one guy was doing his job.

Unfortunately, this is the nearest gamestop around my house because the other two in my city(the one on beverly and garfield, and also the one in the mall) closed down. I’ve come in here a couple of times and every time I’m disgusted and disappointed. This store is often unkept and very dirty, but the worst part about this store are the employees. They are hardly any help and when I ask them questions they don’t seem to know much. Twice they gave me wrong information about a DLC I was trying to buy in-store. The first time I went in in person and they told me they ran out of codes(I don’t know if this is true to how DLCs work, so I didn’t question it) and I had them call another gamestop to see if they had it in stock. They did, and the other gamestop said they didn’t have any codes for the DLC, either. One of the employees advised me to «just get it online». So when I went home, I searched the PSN store in search for this DLC and found one SIMILAR, but more expensive. It was neither the one I needed/wanted, and it was too expensive. So I did a google search to see where else I could buy it, but after about an hour of web browsing I could only conclude that it was a gamestop exclusive, because no other store had it. The next day I ask my boyfriend to call and ask them once again if they had it, and they told him no, they did not, and that it was«only sold in the PSN store». I wanted to reach through the phone and falcon punch these idiots, because they are some of the most incompetent employees I’ve ever had the displeasure of asking for help. Thanks to them, I now have to drive to a different gamestop about a half hour out of my way to get what I want. And what makes this sadly funny is that when I explained my situation with the new gamestop I’m going to, they agreed that what the pico gamestop was telling me about the DLC was incorrect. Sigh sigh. TL;DR: This gamestop doesn’t know jack about the products they’re selling, and repeatedly give out wrong information. I do not recommend this gamestop, unless you are completely desperate.

It’s not a bad place if you don’t want to wait for a game you can buy cheaper online to ship, much like my Christmas gift. Someone purchased the game i wanted, but for the wrong console. And I wanted to play the game. Now.(I took a week off work so it’s the perfect time). So I went here and they had the game, at a decent price. They had a buy 2 used get 1 free sale so I partook in that picking up a game for Wii and a couple for Xbox 360. This was on the 26th of December, and not surprisingly it was crowded. However staff handled the crowd well, were quick, and helpful.

This is the place to go if you want to buy video games in that atmosphere. This spot is in the rather new Mega-Shopping Complex on Washington in Pico Rivera. So, if your hungry thier are all kinds of places to eat in walking distance including those brownies from Borders bookstore or the McDees inside Walmart. Like many other gamestops you see gamers coming here to buy, try out games, look at stuff and they are part of the gaming atmosphere. Since this one is at a pretty popular mall-complex you will see more kids in thier asking thier parents to get them a game or something. They keep the place pretty organized, thier selection of games and joysticks is great. Sometimes you have to park a bit far, but never a huge deal. They have chairs in the patio outside which customers sit and wait, relax or eat hawiian, chinese, american sandwiches, mexican or something from the juice place. I will probably be back sometime in the future.
