Y. Mark Hong, M.D. is a Phoenix native, Board-​certified urologist specializing in minimally invasive surgery and a partner at Affiliated Urologists, an award-​winning urology practice in Phoenix. Dr. Hong has been featured on WebMD, ABC, CBS, Fox News, NBC, PBS, 3-​TV, KTAR-​radio and the Arizona Republic.

Upon graduating summa cum laude from Rice University with a 4.0 GPA, Dr. Hong attended Stanford University School of Medicine where he received several prestigious awards and research fellowships in areas as diverse as prostate cancer and tissue engineering with artificial nerve grafts. Dr. Hong also authored a case study for Stanford Graduate School of Business, which was later published by the Harvard Business School Press and included in Harvard Business School’s curriculum.

Dr. Hong completed his general surgery training at the world-​renowned Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts and his urological surgery residency at Harvard Medical School.
