The Way

Wonderful place! Finally, I found doctors who know the human body very well and who can help with true healing from the inside out! For them, re-​establishing balance in your body and maintaining full health is the main goal.
Dr. Peter Chow is very patient, professional and incredibly good with assessing the spine and relieving any pain with the use of an infra-​red massager bed; his wife, the gentle Dr. Pauline Chow, is phenomenal at Auricular Medicine assessment of points of imbalance in the body, and at treatment of weakness/​pain through the application of patches in the ear for acupressure and self-​acupressure.
I feel so grateful I found them! Both myself and my little girls are being treated gently, and my husband will follow soon! Finally, doctors who don’t look at the clock when they receive you! And no distractions for them: the Dr.‘s full attention is on you! Their clinic is very clean and relaxing. They’re transparent with their prices. I’ve been 3 times and will go back many times more! They are totally worth it!

My wife has been visiting this clinic for problems with her spine and dizziness and has been improving with the various treatments the doctors have been giving her. They have also made many helpful suggestions of things she can be doing everyday to improve her overall health. They are friendly and take a lot of time to listen to patients and explain the treatments.

I have found that holistic medicine gives me a much greater appreciation for the body I have and Dr. Peter Chow and Dr. Pauline Chow have worked with me in achieving better balance as they impart their knowledge which allows me greater awareness of how my diet, lifestyle and especially life stresses affect my wellness. The Way is a place I can go to receive help. It is so refreshing to walk into a clinic where doctors listen to and attend to my needs. Nourishment through Accupuncture, raw herbs and Auricular medicine. I look forward to learning through my experiences with both Dr. Peter Chow and Dr. Pauline Chow.

I have been going to Dr. Pauline Chow for the past seven years. She has had a profound impact on my healing from cancer and chemotherapy. I have been to several other acupuncturists and no one comes close to the care that Pauline and her husband do for their clients. Dr. Pauline Chow is a master at cupping, acupuncture and freshly grinding and prescribing herbs. all while exhibiting the most nurturing gentle and calm presence. I always enjoy talking with her husband too, as he is an encyclopedia of healing information and treatments. They are the real deal!

I have Crohn’s Disease and went here for treatment. I was especially interested in the Chinese Herbs. I spent a lot of money here and didn’t quite heal as much as I would have hoped, but in spite of that I would give The Way 5+ stars and recommend it to anyone with an open mind looking for other forms of treatment. The herbs and acupuncture treatments did help me get some symptoms under control, I just unfortunately have a complicated case and can’t afford too long-​term a process here while I’m not able to work. So I haven’t re-​upped since my 10 appt membership ended. That’s not to say I won’t be back in the future though.
With the memberships, they actually make it quite affordable though shorter-​term and if you don’t need all the herbs, and Peter was very kind and conscious of my cost concerns when considering treatment possibilities. The appts are also a great value as I was consistently in there for 1.5−2 hours, and they will do any and all treatments you need in that one appt. This is truly good service and what patient care should look like. I don’t have family out here and Peter and Pauline felt like family while I was seeing them because they were so caring. Unlike many doctors, I felt like they truly listened to me and how I felt in their efforts to understand my condition which is essential because the patient knows their body best and everybody’s body is different. It’s nice when you can call at any time, weekday or weekend, with questions too. Thank you Drs. Chow!

I have now had 3 sessions at The Way, 2 with Dr. Chow and one with Dr. Pauline. Both are extremely skilled at what they do. Both treated me with a combination of acupuncture, cupping massage electronic massage table and Chinese herbs. I have on-​going issues with back and hip pain and am receiving excellent care from this clinic. They Also offer various classes in Chinese medicine as well as Tai Chi which I am interested in finding out more about. I will continue to work with both Docs as they have been great for me and I appreciate not simply being offered pain meds from my family Dr. I’m very thankful I found my way to The Way!

As a Chinese original I always hold a high regard to Chinese traditional ways of therapy yet it is also true that finding a doctor who is good at those is difficult not to mention outside of China. Dr. Chou and his wife Pauline never cease to impress me with their knowledge and care. I had some chronicle issue that couldn’t get cured by visiting western doctors or western medicines and decided to go with herbal treatment. Dr. Chou and Pauline did a very thorough analysis on my situation, prescribed me herbals and applied auricular, acupuncture, and cupping therapy on me. After 3 weeks’ session I feel a completely different person. My symptom disappeared, digestion improved and the overall wellness has been significantly improved. Aside from the treatment, Dr. Chou also gave me lots of advice on how to maintain a healthy life style, practice Tai Chi and eat properly. And the price they charge is rather reasonable. Both Dr. Chou and Pauline are very nice and friendly and are always ready to help the patients. I recommend them from the bottom of my heart.

Dr. Chow is the real deal for Chinese Medicine. I’ve been seeing him for about a year; his methods of healing using natural Chinese medicine, acupuncture, Qi-​Gong exercises, aricular therapy and more. He is reasonably priced and he and his wife, Pauline, are true healers.
