History

Established in 2010.

The Pool Steward was founded in February 2010 as a purchase of a 65 pool route from large aggregating pool service company. Armed with a Certification in Pool Operations from the National Swimming Pool Foundation, a BS degree in Chemistry and lots of ambition, the owner began servicing pools. Five years later, the company is servicing over 300 total accounts, a total staff of 6 stewards and an exciting future. In addition to our volumes we have improved our expertise in pool repair and look forward to a continued expansion of service offerings in the future.

I have been fortunate to have grown up in this great city, and have raised my kids in the Northeast Valley. Now that my kids have entered adulthood, I am using the opportunity to focus my energies on developing a customer-​centric business in the Northeast Valley, where I have been the beneficiary of great schools, great families and great neighborhoods. Being a pool owner myself, I know the value of the swimming pool, the stress when equipment breaks down and the challenges of trying to get the repairs done.

A degreed Chemist by education, certified in pool operations by the National Swimming Pool Foundation, we leverage industry standard practices in water chemistry and preventative maintenance methods to ensure your pool is worry-​free.

My 25+ years in the semiconductor industry have provided a clear understanding that the customer is not paying for effort, education, or credentials — You need a clean healthy pool, that is the result of regular, faithful service.
