Go somewhere else if you value your time. Front desk is rude and 11:15 appointment was late by 45 minutes. This place is the worst.

We came in on my sister’s day off for an x-​Ray and the staff said it would take 30 minutes. It’s been 1.5 hours now and we are still here waiting. We keep asking them about what the issue may be so that we can leave if needed but we heard «15 more minutes» four times now.
So the poor customer service aside, this is not a very nice waiting area and inefficient spacing for the amount of people they take in. It’s definitely a money grabbing business model– let as many people in, stuff them, and keep saying «15 minutes» for the wait time.
Never again.

Expect your appointment to be pushed at least 45 min. They are not on time, and from what I can tell from multiple sources, they are never on time. Good luck! Go somewhere else.

If I had the option to give zero stars, I would still feel that was way too high of a rating! Went in for a CXR and was told it would be 30 minutes. 45 minutes later I check to see why I haven’t been called back and it turns out the receptionist forgot to enter me in their system. Instead of apologizing and getting me back ASAP she made some excuse about the computers and told me it will now be another 55 minutes because it’s not fair to move me ahead of the people who already checked in. In what moronic world is it my fault that the bimbo at the front desk can’t do her job so I have to be moved to end of the line?!? Simon Med, I am so over using you for future imaging needs!

If I could rate them a 0, I would. On Sept. 12, 2014 I had a CT scan as an annual follow-​up ordered by my doctor. When I arrived I was told it would cost over $ 400 out of pocket as I have a high deductible. I told the girl at the front window that I would have to make payments and she said that would be fine. I paid $ 79 at that time with a check and gave her my credit card to bill the balance to it on a monthly basis in the amount of $ 79 until paid. The radiologist at SMI then sent my doctor a report and strongly urged that I get a much more costly PET scan done. So I had that very costly scan done two weeks later on Sept. 29, 2014. On that visit I was told that it would cost around $ 2600, so again, I paid $ 215 on my Visa and told them to take payments out on it for $ 215 until paid. My insurance company didn’t get the claim from SMI until November 15, 2014. Because of my high deductible, the insurance didn’t pay anything, but did show what the allowable amount billed should be. I received the first of only two statements from SMI on Dec. 3,2014 with a statement date of November 26, 2014 demanding payment in full. As I understood on both visits, they were supposed to be taking out a total of $ 295 a month out of my credit card, but the statement showed they had not. So I went online and made a payment of $ 295 on Dec. 11, 2014. I expected that it had set it up to continue doing automated payments after that. However, I learned after getting a second statement on February 16, 2015 from SMI that said «Final Notice» that they had not taken out a payment. I called them and told them this was supposed to be on automated payments and was directed again to go online to set it up. So again, on Feb. 23, 2015, I did another online payment for the $ 295. I have not received any other statements from SMI. After checking my credit card statement in April for the March billing, I found out that again, SMI did not take out a payment. So I again went online and made a payment of $ 295 on April 13, 2015. At this point, I figured it was useless getting them to do the automated payments. On May 25, 2015 I made another payment online in the amount of $ 295. I was totally shocked and angry to then get a letter from a collection agency on June 12, 2015 saying that it had been assigned to them for collection. I immediately called and spoke to a Kyle who told me that it was a computer generated error and that he would try to get it corrected. He told me to wait 10 days before trying to make my June payment. On June 22 I went to the automated phone line and it took the payment and also set up automated payments of $ 214 for 6 months. It then gave me a confirmation code for that as well. I figured that everything had been taken care of, only to receive a call this last Thursday, July 9^th from the collection agency. I told them what I had been told and they said that they had not been contacted. I then called SMI and spoke this time to a Maria. She told me that it should not have been assigned to collection and that she would take care of it immediately. While I was on the phone with her, she told me that she had fixed it and that it was out of collection and current. I then asked her to call the collection agency to let them know and she told me that either she or someone else would do that. The following day on Friday, I found out that no one had called the collection agency and that SMI was still showing the account turned over to collection. This is absolutely crazy! I spoke with a Darla this time and told her what Maria had told me the day before. Darla then told me that Judy Hall, a supervisor, is the person who turned this over to collection, literally three days after the May payment of $ 295. I asked to please have this Judy Hall call me and she has not done so. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have very good credit and do not appreciate such reckless handling of my account. I would really like to know who the corporate officers of this company are and to find out if this is really how they handle things.

This Review is for the billing department only. my Ultrasound tech was friendly and everything was fine in that department.
MY experience trying to pay my bill today. I tried to pay online via there website it did not work. So i tried to call and make a credit card payment over the phone. They have an automated credit card payment line which also didn’t not work… I tried twice. (Please note I do have money in my bank account and i did type all info correctly and carefully) So after 3 failed attempts i transfer to a live person who answered the phone (i think her name was Kim) i tell her whats going on and she said rudely hold on… and she transfers me back to the automated phone line for credit card payments! So again i try that and it doesn’t work… So i call back and get thru to another live person I tell her whats going on and she proceeds to tell me they can’t take a phone payment unless i use the automated system or pay online. neither worked so i told the women well i guess your not getting paid then and she hung up the phone. Your billing services are crap and your customer service reps are useless and rude! Guess you don’t want your money

Simon Medical will book an appointment time and keep you waiting for hours. I had to walk out two times for a Saturday appointment for a C.T. Scan. When the cat is away the mice will play. Patients in the waiting room were treated like cattle. The front office staff with the technicians were enjoying each other’s company and patients were ignored. Before I had to leave without having the test performed I told staff I had to leave. They then stated we can bring you back right away. I rescheduled and having an appointment is useless. This was at the Thunderbird location in Glendale. This company has the proper equipment to perform the service. The problem is the help is allowed to run wild, and there is no accountability. I have always gad a better experience with Valley Radiology.

Incompetent!!! Spent an inordinate amount of time getting an appointment set up and Kristen did not get it right! Sent me to a site where they don’t do the study that I needed. She got on the phone multiple times to «call the site» to «verify». Never emailed me the instructions as she said she would. Got there 30 mins prior to my appointment having been NPO
for 2 hrs. No deodorant. No lotion. Total if an hour driving time. Naturally I am peeves because on a day that I shuffled my schedule and I’m crunched for time, I waited 45mins and had i not asked an approx time that they could get me in I would not have been informed of this goof up. Naturally they’ve already taken my very hefty payment. Trish at the 19^th ave site was amazing in helping to rectify the problem. On my way to the other site that Kristen was able to schedule i get a call from her that she would like to schedule something different since she double booked me and want to be mindful of my time. Additionally it is to be noted that the 19^th Ave site is not pleasant. Smells. All sites should strive for the Mountain View standard.

Be prepared to wait hours for a routine MRI. Been here for 3 hours and still not done. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

My Doctor ordered me a fairly emergent MRI and Simon Med Imaging called me the same day to schedule a reservation. They requested pre-​auth from my insurance company and booked my reservation to allow adequate time to receive the pre-​auth.
The staff, including the office manager were very cordial, smiled and were genuine even though it was obvious they were busy. They stopped, focused on me as a patient and then went about their duties. Tana my technician was super with a great welcoming personality who would make any nervous patient (which I am not) at ease.
Thank you Simon Med Imaging! When I fix my knee I am coming to you for my MRI.
Oh and a tip is that x-​rays are on a walk-​in basis. They also have late hours accomodating working professionals.
Only gave four stars because the bathroom and the waiting room were a bit in need of cleaning and attention.

I made an appointment for a mammogram. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment to fill out paperwork. When I walked in there were at least 15 people in the waiting area… not a good sign.
My name was promptly called at 8:30. I was brought back to the changing room and then to the exam room. By 8:50 I was back in my car headed home. I will always go here for my mammograms.

Although scheduling an appointment for an ultrasound was very easy and the follow-​up from this staff was wonderful, the review is more on my actual appointment and service I received during my ultrasound.
The ultrasound tech was not like any other ultrasound tech I have encountered before. I needed a pelvic ultrasound and he wound up asking me after he had done the traditional ultrasound if I needed or if my doctor wanted me to have a different type of ultrasound.
I had to use the bathroom after the first ultrasound before the second ultrasound be performed. There was no bathroom in Suite 103 where I was having my ultrasound. So I was instructed to go to the other Simon med suite in 102 to use the bathroom. When I returned the ultrasound tech had prepped the table for me in advance and gave me clear instructions as to what he needed me to do and then notified me that he would be obtaining a chaperone.
He seemed very, very uncomfortable having to do the internal ultrasound and made me handle the wand and business end first at that with no offer to sanitize or anything to clean all the gel off my hand and honestly the situation caught me off guard. Luckily I had clean and sanitized hands!
Finally, something else I found odd was that once he was finished he instructed me to of course get dressed but then I had to throw things away off the table. I just felt that this is a medical professional and my past ultrasound (I’ve had a lot) were more professional. Anyone else ever have an experience like this?
