Baby’s First Ultrasound

I was beyond disappointed in our experience here. We went this past Sunday, January 31^st in hopes of finding out the gender at 14weeks as advertised on their website. We walked in and the front desk associate was extremely nice as she had us fill out our paperwork. It was supposed to be a special experience for just my husband and I. As we walked into the sonogram room the sonogram tech seemed to be an extremely unhappy person. I told her that her job seems amazing as she gets to look at babies all day. She responded with a «yeah.» And seemed extremely unenthused as she turned the lights off and walked over the the sonogram machine and just looked at me as I stood there. I sat down and she got the gel on my stomach and as soon as she starts she tells us the sound we hear is the heart beat and the baby shows on the screen in 2d. She clearly had a hard time getting my baby to cooperate as she asked me to cough several times and had me lay all the way flat and then back up. She never got a picture between my babies legs and then tells us the baby is a girl and that she saw three lines and no penis. She could not get the picture on the screen clear and she took twenty pictures. Only one picture was 3D and about 18 of the 20 look like blobs. So not only did I leave there beyond upset. But I feel like her gender announcement was a guess because as stated in the paperwork that if the baby isn’t cooperating you can come back for an additional visit for free. I felt like she was just trying to get us out of there and made the whole experience extremely u comfortable and awkward. I left in tears feeling like I wasted my time and money and not feeling confident in what the gender of my baby was. I will now be waiting another 5weeks to find out from my dr which is fine, but I am out $ 60 and had to have an absolutely disappointing experience. The girl at the front desk was sweet and congratulatory, however the sonogram tech seemed to hate her job and hate dealing with people, she should strongly consider a career change.

I was super excited to find out we are having a BOY at our first visit to Baby’s First Ultrasound at 15 wks!!! Our Dr. does sonograms separate and we are very impatient and didn’t want to wait till 20 wks to do a gender reveal. Everyone was very friendly, & love how there is extra seating for family to be apart of the special day of finding out if its a boy or girl!!! Glad to hear they are open 7-​days a week and we were able to schedule it so my husband was able to be there after work! We absolutely enjoyed our experience and will be back later in our pregnancy to see our baby boy!

This place is okay. The pictures they took are horrible. But the video was amazing. And I also bought a heart beat teddy that my newborn loves.

DISAPPOINTED— We would never go back to this establishment. The ultrasound tech was great but the overall experience a sham. The receptionist was unwelcoming, impatient and uneasy to be around. We called to make the appointment for 5. We got there 20mins early and awaited our families arrival for viewing. We were asked numerous times to just go in and start without them. At 5 we went in altogether, we did not feel that being rushed in was appropriate or necessary. Our viewing went great but after when the files were sent to the receptionist our not so great experience with her proceeded. Our DVD’s music skips and only turned out to be 20mins when we paid for the silver package which should have been 25mins. To top it off like the page or not but even after I mentioned it we never received any addition photos of which were all cut crookedly and stuffed in a crappy plastic photo book. Loved seeing our little man on the big projector though!

I don’t know if they got a new entire staff, or if they changed their ways due to all the bad reviews, but I absolutely loved this place!!! I’m so happy too because I was looking forward to my appointment for a week, then the night before I decided to read reviews and almost ended up canceling due to all of the negative reviews!!!
We got there 10 minutes early, we were greeted very nicely (which I don’t know if these people doing reviews were expecting the receptionist to jump up and roll out a red carpet for them as they entered or something?), she had us go to the waiting room to fill out paperwork and wait until we were called. Now yes, it was a smaller waiting room, but once again, I’m not expecting a 5 star resort waiting room with a red carpet where I can get pampered, no, I just want to get in and see my baby! It was about a 10 minute wait (which felt like it was longer due to the suspense and excitement), but once again, not as bad as people made it sound… and the ultrasound tech was the sweetest lady! She took us to the room which had multiple chairs for friends/​family to view the big projection screen, then she put the fun gooey gel on and there was our baby boy! What a truly amazing gift! The tech was so sweet, making little jokes about the baby waving, truly made this a wonderful experience!!! We only paid for the basic gender package, only because we’re so early into the pregnancy (14.5 weeks).
Then after we were done, we went back to the waiting room, teary eyed and all, and sat there another 5 – 10 minutes (once again, just felt longer thanks to my good ol’ excited impatient self) waiting for our pictures. Turns out they were put on to a CD which was a nice surprise, since I was expecting 4 sloppy-​cut pictures (thanks fellow reviewers!), they were beyond perfect!!! Blurry my butt! Okay, so the 3d one was a little blurry, but it’s to be expected when your little alien is 14 weeks old!
All I can say is, I absolutely loved this place… I honestly bummed myself out due to all the bad reviews and drove to this place asking my husband if we’re sure we want to waste 60 dollars; I am so happy I didn’t cancel this appointment!!! I feel truly truly blessed!!! Thank you for making this an amazing experience!!!

I almost cancelled my appointment after reading the previous reviews on here, but so thankful I didn’t. I called to do a gender check and they were able to get me in that day. The receptionist was super friendly and the ultra sound tech was amazing. She was able to determine the gender after just a few seconds, but still took the time to make sure we had plenty of shots of the whole baby. I paid the extra $ 9 to get a DVD as well and was so worth it. Got to see my little guy kicking me in there lol. The quality of my DVD and pics on my cd were great. She even switched over to 3d to show us the gender parts as well and included those pics. I would suggest getting the DVD because it shows a lot more. I would def recommend going. Thank you ladies so much for this experience! You are awesome!

I’m surprised this place has so many negative reviews! I called in a week prior to my 14 week Mark to get an early gender ultrasound. They scheduled me for the day and time I wanted and called me the day before to remind me of my appointment.
I got there 15 minutes early and they were quick to do paperwork and handle payment, then we waited maybe 5 minutes for the ultrasound tech. She was great! She took her time and made sure to check from every angle to verify that it was a girl!
I did get a faulty CD with the pictures, but I understand that that can happen. I went back in and they replaced it quickly and gave me 12 pictures instead of the 4 promised in their quick peek gender reveal package. I’d highly recommend them!

Don’t go here. Worst service ever. We drove really far to be told they forgot to write my appointment down. Since they clearly took someone else before I arrived, they sent me home. And she gave the excuse that her ultrasound tech just went home. How retarded. It’s like ok, but you’re still seeing other people. you are still open for another 1.5 hours. AND you have NO technician… make sense?

This review is for the Gender Package
NOT WORTH IT!
First, we had to wait 45 minutes in the stuffy waiting room full of flies. When they finally got to us they didn’t even do the 3D ultrasound! No one told us it was not included in our package until AFTER we were done! They even pointed out a picture of the 3d ultrasound behind the reception desk to tell us what to expect. And then they didn’t do it! Just the regular 2d black and white one like the doctor does (but less clear). But the worst part was that they didn’t give us one decent picture! We got a disk with 18 pictures but they were all TERRIBLE! One you could kinda see a hand, some of a leg, a couple of the back of the head; not one single picture of anything that looked like a baby. Nothing we could frame or share with anyone. Useless.
The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars instead of one is that they did tell us the gender so I guess that’s worth something. If I had known what it was like I would have waited the 4 more weeks for my doctor to tell us.
Basically, don’t expect a nice experience or any keepsakes; if you want to pay $ 59 to know the gender a couple weeks early, go for it. That’s all you’ll get.

My husband spoke to the manger and she told him there’s is nothing she can do for him! Well we sure did something, filed at complaint at BBB for this scam of a company! My husband was very polite to her and she simply hung up on him! This company is seriously unprofessional and very trashy… Don’t believe us, just read the other reviews!

EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTING SERVICE! This business seems to be run very poorly by rude and incompetent people. My wife and I recently took a drive down with excitement to see our baby in a 3d ultrasound. When we arrived we were not even greeted by the «receptionist» but rather awkwardly had to ask if she was the person that could help us. In a whispered tone she simply said «yes, who are you?»… an odd introduction to the business. we asked what packages would be available for purchase and since she was unsure of how to properly explain the options I asked to see a list on paper. My wife and I chose a package and entered the ultrasound room.
Within two minutes the ultrasound tech said she was not going to be able to do the ultrasound because the baby was not positioned properly. I would like to add that the ultrasound tech is very nice and professional.
We said we understood and stepped out for a refund. We were then told that the contract that we signed (we NEVER were presented or signed anything) stated no refunds. When we asked her to present the said contract she said «oh, whoops, I must have forgotten to have you sign it… but that is our policy… you can come back again if you want.» It is a huge hassle to have to come back again and we would prefer not to deal with these people so we asked again for a refund. We were tild that there was No chance for a refund even though we did not sign anything and we’re in and out within 5 minutes… empty handed, no bear, no photos, no buttons… nothing.
I called later and spoke with a «customer service manager» who after I very politely and calmly told her the situation and asked for a copy of this «contract» that we never signed to be sent to me, decided that she was just going to hang up on me. Before hanging up and without allowing for response she stated that we had signed a contract last time we went there (3 years ago) for our first child stating no refunds… ??
I called back and politely and calmly asked who I was speaking to… the girl said «why do you want to know»? What?! I told her so I can make sure I am talking to someone who can help me solve and issue I have with my recent visit… then I was hung up on again.
Seems Crazy right?!
This isn’t about monet to me… not at all… it is only $ 93… but this business and those who run it are disgraceful and ignorant as to how to treat customers.
DO NOT GO HERE… Im sure that there are plenty of other, better options with people who will treat you better and more professionally.

Seriously, I came from San Diego to give my dad a chance to see the baby. Service was just plain horrible. They didn’t want to work with us on any packages. I didn’t want to buy a big package cause there’s no point, I had another ultrasound in SD before and I bought the complete package, with teddy bear and everything. So, I ended up giving 20 extra bucks for 15 min but it ended up been 9 min to see my chunky monkey! & I checked in to get another extra 4 pictures and it’s basically the same damn pictures. I was soo pissed off and I don’t recommend this place at all. Horrible.

Only (3) stars due to the quality of the pictures. I made the appointment the same day which was great! Scheduled at 4:30pm we arrived 4:25 where given some paperwork to fill out & right away i was called in. Cant deny how nervous I was, as we where about to find out our baby’s gender!
Its a GIRL! It literally brought tears to my eyes when i saw her… This is my 1^st and im really excited.
We got the gender determination package & where able to see our baby girl wiggle & kick & wave Lol
We received the BLACK & WHITE pictures & they were of horrible quality. You cant see the baby (see picture)
Overall i was happy with the experience of watching her move.

I should have just paid for the gender determination, but I was so excited to see my little one I wanted a longer visit so I got the 20 minutes and extra pictures/​DVD. Waste of money! Was so sad, I wish the ultrasound tech that worked there was a little more personal and up beat about her job since it’s such an exciting time especially for moms to be. She found out right away was a girl, didn’t say anything else and for the next 10 – 15 minutes (until she got her 20 pictures) just sat there and snapped pictures. Which turned out such bad quality printed and even on the disk. We didn’t even keep the pictures or use the cd the quality was that bad. And no it wasn’t the baby or me not drinking enough fluids I came with a full bladder intentionally and then 3 weeks later I went to my anatomy scan at my regular ultrasound place and the pictures were 10 times better. It was worth finding out I’m having a girl, but I would pay extra money and go somewhere else where it’s taken a little bit more serious and your treated nicer.

Not worth the money. Yes my baby was covering her face with 1 arm because she was sucking her thumb but the tech spent the whole session jabbing the wand on my stomach. I left feeling beat up. We had a few good photos but they didn’t print those. The photos they printed are extremely blurry that I will just be throwing them in the trash.

They Horrible Service And Hospitality, I Was Charged and Never Got Any Pictures Nor DVD. Because of the baby’s position, and in order to reschedule I have to pay again, so I will be reporting them to the better business bureau

This place is amazing. I went in with 11 of my friends to find baby sex and to have our baby’s first 4d ultrasound. The image is very clear and they told me I was having a girl which I later confirmed with my doctor. Went in at 16 weeks. We did the $ 79 package which in my opinion is the best one. They accommodate all of us comfortably and the experience lasted about 15 minutes maybe a little less. I think the location is a little off because the people that were outside looked a little weird I don’t know what they were waiting for but I think this place is about right for the price and quality. I would definitely recommend it to my friends it was a nice experience. They have a huge salon to accommodate your guests although when we just got there it was a bit snug don’t let that fool you. Overall it was a good experience we’ll be coming back later in my pregnancy as they gave me a discount ticket. Good place and fair price where everywhere else was really expensive. I would recommend it to my friends. The technician was knowledgable and nice too.

I came here on Saturday to get the Gender Screening package and I brought some of my friends along. I had a previous early ultrasound that told us what sex the baby was, but I wanted to get one when I was further along. I was greeted by a very cheerful young lady who welcomed us, directed us to the waiting room, and gave me some paperwork to fill out. The wait was very short and then we went into the screening room with the Ultrasound Tech. The Tech was very nice, but fast. I don’t think we were there for longer then 10min. However, we did get a lot more pictures then anticipated, and they were of good quality. If I were to get more ultrasound pics, I would try this place again. The prices are very good.

Let me just set the record straight that no I’m not the Prego one! My favorite niece was sweet enough to ask me as well as some other family & friends to join her and her husband to see her 1^st born“s 4D ultra sound, of course I wouldn’t miss it!
When I got there I was surprised at how many of us were there to witness this amazing event (around 15) but more so how the heck would there be room for everybody. We were quickly led into a large waiting room and within minutes were led into the ultra sound room, To my surprise the room had rows and rows of seating, extra chairs on the side, 2 large screens the only thing missing was popcorn! We were able to see her beautiful baby boy from head to toe, not difficult because his toes were up next to his adorable face. How amazing to see his beautiful face, sweet eyes flutter, his hands & feet wiggle, he even stuck his tongue out! Amazing, and how great that this could be shared with your family & friends.
Within 10 minutes after she had color as well as black & white pictures, so beautiful!
Thank you to my sweet neice and to Baby’s 1^st Ultrsound for the wonderful experience! I am looking forward to seeing my newphew’s face again in 5 short weeks.
Did it make me want one of my own, that’s a big NO I have plenty but for anyone who is expecting their own bundle of joy I highly recommend this experience!

We had a great experience here. Appt was right on time and the DVD and prints came out as expected. Best price from the other places we checked.
