Established in 2005.
Serenity Hospice provides community-based hospice services to patients in whatever location they call home, and also operates two (2) in-patient hospice care facilities.
Our mission is to prevent and relieve suffering and promote quality of life through patient centered and family inclusive care, education and advocacy; delivered with compassion and thoughtful consideration of each individual’s beliefs and values.
Meet the Manager
Shawn M.
Manager
Shawn McAffee grew up in Southern California and graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BS in Business Administration. He moved to Arizona in 2010 to work for Scottsdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as their Administrator and CEO.
In 2013, Shawn joined Serenity Hospice & Palliative Care’s team and saw Serenity as an opportunity for growth and transformation. He made it his mission to better enhance and cultivate an organization with great character and a culture that exemplifies respect, innovation, trust and excellence. Shawn’s overarching principal is best described in Thomas S. Monson’s quote, «Never let the pursuit of business get in the way of kindness.»
Shawn is a proud husband and father, bringing his family values into the Serenity culture. Shawn’s goal for Serenity is to be the best hospice and palliative care company to work for and to receive care.
