History

Established in 2009.

As the first animal shelter in the Phoenix area to partner with a retail developer, the Arizona Humane Society’s presence within Valley malls continues to successfully increase exposure and awareness about pet overpopulation within our community. That success has led to a signature t-​shirt line, wonderful partnerships with Macerich and Red Development, and best of all… over 5,300 successful adoptions. All purchases within our stores are tax-​free and proceeds go right back to helping care for our homeless animals. AHS adopters receive a 10% discount off of all purchases at any of our retail locations.
