I did not appreciate the hard sell on my 17-​year old to purchase a tuxedo rather than rent, when we clearly indicated renting is what we were looking for and asked for more than once. They lost our business for this and I’ll make sure none of the men in my family return for any future purchases. I only sent my son there because it’s close and I thought it would be convenient — didn’t expect them to try to take advantage of a kid going to his first prom.

I like a store where I can get in and get out quickly. The Men’s department all in one handy store. Was able to stock up on some essentials without any issues. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I’ve been here two times now. The staff are very nice. They had a huge back log on the tailoring and they were able to sneak me in. The buy 1 get 18 free is also nice.

I have never been more disgusted with a store EVER.
I heard they were having a clearance and recommended my boyfriend get a suit there.
He walked in the door and the sales woman told my boyfriend that he was fat and should «lay off the burritos».
This will NOT be the last JoS A Bank hears of this situation.
I cannot believe a business would seriously make a potential customer feel bad for their weight.
My boyfriend is a local actor/​singer/​dancer in the community theater scene in town and has NEVER had an issue with a costumer providing suits/​dance pants/​jeans, etc EVER.
I AM DISGUSTED.

I wasn’t with my son when he rented but I was happy to bring it back after he wore it. Horrible quality tuxes for rent. The shirt my son got with his $ 180 tux rental had severe neck sweat stains. Gross. The pants still had the hem pins in them and the material felt like asbestos. The clerk said «yep they are horrible but that’s what you get when you rent something that 1000 people have worn.» I confirmed that you at least expect clean and decent or very cheap. This was neither. Won’t use them again. They know they are screwing teenagers but want them to buy suits instead for less. Wow.

I like Jos A Bank good suits, good prices However, this is the worst store I have ever encountered: We were given the briefest of courtesy, we asked two questions and then the staff went off, never to return: After asking two different staff members for help, and being ignored, we left: They weren’t busy, mind you — they had two other customers in the store: They simply could not be bothered. Go to ANY other Jos A Bank, even if you have to drive an hour:

My son needed a suit on short notice. We walked into Joseph A. Banks today and we completely ignored by the salesmen, who were chatting in the back. When we began walking toward them they moved to another corner of the store. I finally got the attention of one of them and told him our situation and he literally looked down his nose at me and said it would be at least 2 weeks. There were a few other people in the store that were serving themselves, too. We were not wearing good clothes, just our Saturday grubbies, but that’s no reason to treat us like cockroaches.
I will never recommend this store and I would not get a suit there if they gave it to me for free.

I cannot express how great this place is and the staff. I am a part of a wedding party that was going there for a suit. I was not able to go with the party to get fitted for the suit. Greg, the manager went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Even though I wasn’t able to get it done at the same time he made sure I wouldn’t be left out for this event. I can’t thank them enough for their customer service. This will be where I get my suits from here on out.

Like the other reviewer, the staff is clearly on commish. This is ok, but be remember that you are paid by the customer.
Bought at this store two times and from their online store one time. They are not fans when you order online and have it delivered to the store.
Never pay full price as they consistently have buy one get one sales. Check their .com store first.
