Don helped me and my husband with our taxes last year. We felt he was very knowledgeable and competent, so I called him today to ask his advice about paying off a mortgage and rental property. He offered very sound advice over the phone on a Friday afternoon without charging a dime! We will definitely be keeping him as our tax advisor for as many years as he will be working. I’m so happy I found Don on Unilocal and interviewed him. I actually interviewed several CPA’s and Don was the best by far overall. I’m the type that is willing to travel pretty far for a great tax person that knows their stuff but luckily he’s conveniently located. I have since referred a handful of people all of which have used Don for their services and have been extremely satisfied with his services. If you’re one of those people that do the online H&R block or those other ones, I’m telling you that you’re paying for what you get and it’s not good. CPA’s are the only way to go as they identify things that us regular people may not know that we can deduct and more.
On your first visit he’ll ask you to bring last years taxes, along with anything else that is helpful, then takes a look. I then submitted all my reports, taxes, etc to him via email he completed the we met in person to review and sign off. Overall it was the easiest and most convenient meetings that I have done and process for my taxes. He doesn’t charge much and what he does charge, it’s well worth the cost. Saved me over $ 1300 on taxes I thought I had to pay and realize I did not and now the IRS approved my amendment on prior year taxes and will be sending that money back to me. Just this year alone, he’s saved me over $ 2K on taxes that if I used online services (which I’ve done in the past and never again) I would have never seen that money and would have probably owed.
I will continue to use Don and I know that the people I referred to him that have used him also will continue too.

Don delivers!!! We went to him to do our rather complex 2013 taxes. To be honest, we were expecting to have to owe Uncle Sam. When all was done, we ended up getting a small refund! Yes, he is busy and can take a while to do the job. However he always answered our questions, and finished the job exactly when he said he would. When it comes to things I’m not an expert in, I always go to someone who is an expert. Don exceeded our expectations, and has earned our future tax and business needs. Skip the computer software and go see Don!

Doesn’t pick up the phone during business hours and there is no option to leave a message. Closed during business hours, don’t waste your time.
