Darwin N. Davis, DDS

I have been going to this dental office for over 15 years for routine cleanings every six months and most recently for a crown that was done about four years ago. The office is owned and operated by Dr Dale Davis and his brother Dr Darwin Davis. I’ve been seeing Darwin Davis exclusively for the entire time I’ve been going to this dental practice. I can’t possibly say enough about the quality of the care, professionalism, efficiency and kindness shown by everyone in the office on a consistent basis over the years. From the moment you walk in the door, you’re greeted by a friendly face. And all over the phone interactions have been beyond pleasant. Dr Davis himself has an amazing chairside manner and a wonderful sense of humor as well. He also will not push unnecessary procedures. I have one tooth which is mostly a filling done over 30 years ago. Other dentists prior to my seeing Dr Davis tried to get me to have a crown done as they claimed the old filling was ready to fall out at any time. When Dr Davis saw it, he advised me that it was fine for the time being, and that I may as well wait as crowns have to be replaced every 10 years once put in. 15 years later, that old filling is still going strong. I did recently have a crown put on another tooth. Went very well. Dr Davis is excellent at explaining what goes on during the procedure in layman’s terms. His great chairside manner has a very calming effect and made the process as pain free as possible. If you’re looking for a top quality family dentist, you can’t possibly go wrong with Dr Davis. I’ve been in and out of many dental chairs in my sixty years; done just about everything you can do to one’s teeth, even fell asleep during a root canal once. So, when I felt the pain of an abscessed tooth, I knew the drill (no pun intended) and found Dr. Davis. What a joy to work with. Great staff, nice office, got me into his chair within an hour after I called and scheduled my next appointment for day after tomorrow. I didn’t think it was possible for any dentist nowadays to make appointments so soon. Very gentle, very knowledgeable and like one other reviewer wrote «no nonsense.» To top it all, he discounted his examination and x-​ray because I don’t have dental insurance. I should have found this guy years ago. Five stars!

Switched to Dr. Davis last year– absolutely fantastic decision. My schedule is subject to change as a medical student and I was looking for a dentist who was not only flexible but also organized enough to give me a call 2 weeks before my appointment to make sure it would work, and offer me alternatives in case I was in a more inflexible med school rotation. Dr. Davis’ office is organized, friendly and efficient. Dr. Davis himself is very fun and easy to talk/​listen to. He always does an incredibly thorough job with zero wait time. I have left his office within 30 minutes of my appointment time each visit and once in 15 minutes. If you have a dental problem (sore tooth, etc) Dr. Davis gives you a honest no-​frills professional opinion which I really appreciate, and makes sure you’re taken care of. I highly recommend this dentist.

Very happy I found this dentist. He is very skilled, gentle and efficient. I just got my wisdom teeth out there and it was done in under 30 minutes and healed up easy peasy. His staff is very friendly as well. He does all his own dental hygiene which seemed odd at 1^st but I actually have come to like it best. Guess that makes things flow even faster. I have never had more than a 5 minute wait when I have gone in.

Ok… since leaving San Diego it’s been hard to find a great dentist, but this place is great. The staff makes me feel so welcome and Darwin is efficient and does quality dental work. He tells me jokes the entire time and he’ll be my dentist as long as I’m in Phoenix. If you are looking for a dentist, this is your guy. Please tell him that I referred you and I promise you’ll get star treatment!
