History

Established in 2014.

Business has existed since 1972. Family owned and operated since April 2014 have brought in culinary expertise and now have a full kitchen. Kitchen is clean and efficient with an A-​rating from the state health inspector. All food now is fresh and prepared at the time of ordering. Added additional beer brands and liquor choices. Owner is present daily to manage.

Continue to have four pool tables lowering rate to 50 cents per game. Added Wifi dart boards to accommodate league and tournament play. Added security to Friday and Saturday night crowds. Bar has been updated with new wood surface brand new floor and lighting. Bathrooms updated and POS added for an effective operation. DirecTV NFL package in place for the 2014 upcoming pro season. Offering a delicious, fresh homemade menu and a large selection of your favorite drinks. The Breakroom is the best place to catch your favorite team.

Business Owner

Lifelong business woman. Fell in love with the thought of a «Cheers» type of bar. Building on that dream with a reformation of the existing Break Room Bar & Grill. Loves sports, football, basketball, and baseball in particular, having one son play D1 baseball at the University of Southern California and a daughter playing basketball at Regis University. A third sibling, another son, is a Navy vet, serving in Iraq and most recently Afghanistan. Loves animals, dogs in particular, German Shepherds and Beagles to be exact.

I guess it’s pretty understandable for a man to say that, but I really like when a bartender is female! Seriously, the one at Breakroom Bar & Grill is amazing! She is so skillful, friendly and has absolutely awesome sense of humor! Incredibly hospitable and sweet staff! As for the kitchen, they serve great wings, which smell great, taste great and simply stuck in my head, so I’ll be back to get some!

The bartender Krystal was great! The cook even came out and talked to me. The place made me feel like I was welcome and home. The pool tournaments they have have on Monday Wednesday and Friday are great! I had a great Time!

Surprisingly good. We drove by this place all the time, but never went inside because it looked a little seedy (until we got a groupon for them and decided «why not»). It is the epitome of a dive, but in a good way. The other patrons were incredibly friendly, the bartenders are friendly, and the food is pretty dang good. Their beer options were decent, too (I wouldn’t have expected craft beer).

Megan is a wonderful, sweet bartender with a fantastic sense of humor! My first time here with my out of town friend. She has been so hospitable and friendly. Kitchen was closed when we were thinking of ordering but I cannot wait to try the wings! They looked and smelled SO good! I am so glad we came here. I will definitely be back and will share this welcoming bar with everyone I come across!

This is the second time I’ve been to this bar while on business trip. Service is always amazing and although we rent a place in Scottsdale we will always come here. Krystal is a great bartender and never left us hanging. If your in AZ come for a drink and great food!

What can I say about this place?
1. The bartenders are friendly. Tonight Megan was personable, attentive, & killin it.
2. Jason the new cook just raised the wings to a whole nother level. They stayed crisp to the last wing. That sauce tho! Those fries all crispy and delicious.
3. The people that come here are real. Come sit at the bar and by the end of the night you’re all homies.
You wanna feel like you’re part of a community, hit this place up.
P. S. They have a touch tunes jukebox you can control from your barstool. BAM!

Meghan and Jason are the best things that could’ve happened to The Breakroom! Jason can cook like no one else. No matter what you order it will come out legit, tasty, fresh and with a smile. Meghan is the best! She delivers drinks with a smile and is genuine and approachable. Promise! I used to be afraid of this place, now I feel at home!

Possibly the best bar I have been to in Phoenix. If you’re looking for a chill hole in the wall place with friendly staff, and great bar food, this is it! Always sure to be a place to meet interesting people, and have a good time after a long days work! Check it out! The manager is super sweet, and the food will not disappoint. Even the chef came out to take our order! For sure worth a stop in!

A little bit of a dive bar but I come here primarily to shoot pool. A little rough around the edges but supporters of O-​sports (Ohio State and Oregon) hang out here so it feels like home in some ways.

The food was great but it was very frustrating that the drinks and kitchen are separate. It does not make sense that we could not pay for everything on one tab. The business needs to figure out that one of the companies pays out the other… etc.

Nice pool Hall with exceptional service. They were having karaōke which was quite entertaining. Played a few rounds of pool with some old friends and had some reasonably priced drinks. When I make my way back to Phoenix I will definitely stop in here again everyone was very friendly the bar staff was awesome!

Had a awesome time. Adrian was a very sweet bartender and we had no problems with redeeming our coupon. The cook was great and the vibe was good. Even got to know a few people. Everyone was friendly. Only one bad thing we had so much fun I am paying the price today. Lol We will definitely be back.
