BBVA Compass Bank

I wish all of the BBVA ATM softwares were updated. It takes so long to make a transaction/​deposit money because the system is so slow!

The only reason that Compass Bank (bbva) got two stars is because of Romeo Zavala, the branch manager. He’s always been wonderful to me and a great help. Fast forward to my experience today dealing with an agent named BJ Chavarri. The moment I walked into his office he seemed irritated that I was using his time. I’ve been waiting for checkcard since December 7. Now I know that this is not his fault, but I was looking for him to help me to see when my check card would be delivered. I made a comment saying «it’s hard with the bank because there’s nothing you can do to compensate me for such a Bad experience.» BJ’s response to me was «I mean, what do you want me to do about it?» While rolling his eyes. I don’t know about you other consumers out there, but that’s not the way I want to be talked to in a bank I’ve put hundreds of thousands of dollars into. I’m disgusted and irritated.

This is the slowest bank if you need to see a banker. Waited 39 min and I left. What a joke.

This place has REALLY gone downhill since my very first visit. The ONLY thing that keeps me returning is the fact it’s the only branch of my bank that’s somewhat close to where I work.
The customer service here needs a lot of improvement, as does the speed of their service. It takes FOREVER to be acknowledged, let alone waited on, for one thing. Last time I came here to deposit my paycheck, I was spoken to in a very rude manner by the male teller in the drive-​up. I didn’t appreciate that or the fact that I sat in the drive-​up for 20 MINUTES before anyone even noticed I was there and waiting! The other gripe is the fact that a car pulled up in the lane beside mine & was served right away. Then someone else pulled up in the ATM lane & I overheard a teller shooting the bull with the customer… all this while I was on my lunchbreak, having to hurry to get back to work, & having to wait!

This is s great representation of a bank that has little care for the customer experience. I tried out this bank thinking I would move from the big four. It was not a score. I was unable to reach phone customer service after holding for a hour. I was unable to access my savings account at the arm. Check prices were outrageous. No personal bankers at this location when I was there to close my accounts. They didn’t even ask me why I was closing my accounts. Terrible bank, subpar company.

absolute criminals. This entire company needs to be shut down for their terrible and unethical services that rob people of their money. Never bank here!!!

Absolutely no customer service! Four people standing around and only one teller. Manager needs some training

After waiting 30 mins to be helped I decided to see a teller and ask him about opening an account with them. He advised me he would have the first available banker to help it said ok. After waiting a few more mins I went back and asked if I could cash a check from someone that banks with them he said no problem and looked at the check and said it will be $ 7 to cash it. Are you kidding me? No thanks! Why would I pay you $ 7 after waiting to be helped for over 30 mins and I can deposit it in my bank for free?
I’m not sure why I had to wait 30 mins to be seen and have my questions answered but I thanked him and walked out not coming back here again.
