Andrew Alex and his associates have been serving Arizona clients since 1974. Originally he provided legal services to clients as Alex & Doherty, then in 2003 as Alex & Gaxiola. September 2012 Andrew’s firm changed its name to Alex & Associates. Andrew Alex began practicing law in Phoenix in 1973. Second in his class, Alex received his Juris Doctorate in Law in 1974 from Chicago-​Kent College of Law and also a B.S.in Economics from the Univ. of Pittsburgh.

From 1974 –1979 Alex was a deputy county attorney for Maricopa County, AZ prosecuting 55 major felony cases. Alex was one of the first in AZ to use a forensic hypnotist to identify a defendant, and also initiated DUI & alcohol related prosecution standards prior to the enactment of relevant AZ legislation.

Alex’s practice is primarily focused on personal injury, products liability, wrongful death & insurance defense (including construction accidents, serious motor vehicle & pedestrian accidents, dog bites, motorcycle accidents, bicycle, semi-​truck). He also practices in civil and healthcare law in the AZ Administrative, Superior and Appellate courts.
