Pro: very reasonable prices, lots of menu options Cons: I ordered the chicken gyro. The sauce was thin and the sandwich bland, but it did have a good amount of chicken. The sweet potato fries were much too overcooked. I’m willing to try something else, but not the fries again.

A pretty great place if you want to get a hoagie and fries. The value point is great and they portion very well. The service is pretty quick and they have a variety of options. If you are around Temple, I do recommend.

Best coffee on campus! And it’s fair trade, too.

I don’t know what’s sexy about a big green truck, but it is a catchy name! But as good trucks go this is one of the best! They have a large menu, and many drink options. My favorites are the wraps there are a few to choose from with the chicken club wrap being the best. Their cheesesteaks aren’t bad for a food truck. So if you ever find yourself on Temple’s campus stop by the Sexy Green Truck, weather you find the truck sexy is up to you, but you will like the food!

The sexy green truck is definitely the food truck I’ll miss most when I graduate from temple. I’ve tried almost all of their paninis, salads, and wraps, and they have all been delicious. My favorite meal to get here is the buffalo chicken panini and sweet potato fries. On top of their great food they also have great service. The owner is very friendly and the food comes out fairly quick even when a lot of orders are being made. I highly recommend the sexy food truck if you are on temple’s campus!

*THISREVIEWISBASESOLEYONTHECHICKENFINGERSANDSPICYFRIES One of my favorite food trucks on Temple University’s campus. When I am not on a diet I usually stop by for the chicken finger platter. I usually substitute the fries with«spicy fries». It is not on the menu but trust me it is soo good, they will know what you are talking about when you ask for it. Sometimes I just go there for their spicy fries. Price is very reasonable, you can get a bag full of fries for only $ 2.00 and extra .25 cent for the spicy seasoning. The portion is huge compared to a lot of the trucks on campus, you can get full off of a $ 5 — $ 6 meal.

These guys are marketing geniuses. This was my first lunch time experience on Temple’s Main campus and the second I saw«the sexy green truck», I knew that’s where I needed to go. It obviously draws you in and looks super clean(what I always look for in a food truck). I ordered a grilled chicken caesar wrap which had to be one of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. The best part for me was the fact that they grilled the wrap once it was assembled. Delicious. It was different and tasty. I loved the slightly wilted greens. Sadly, I only had enough cash to get the wrap or I would have indulged in something else. I couldn’t even get a drink but was pretty impressed that the guy offered to give me one if i came back the next day to pay him It’s nice to see service/trust like that! I will absolutely be back.

This place is awesome, man! Love this place for so many reasons; As far as food goes, The Sexy Green Truck is easily on my top 3 favorite spots on Temple Campus. I love their paninis, and I’m always adding fries(which they have so many different kinds of). Additionally, the staff is REALLY friendly and welcoming. They always manage to have a brief chit-chat with me. I’ve noticed a lot of people complaining about the line at this truck for ordering. *NEWSFLASH* They have their number there, mainly so you can call a few mins in advance, and NOT wait in line. Like I said, this place is awesome!

How can you not love the Sexy Green Truck?! These guys are the best breakfast on Temple’s campus. Always quick, always friendly, always cheap. Great street food! Only go to the best and sexiest truck in Philly!

I come here almost every other day, and I must say the staff is very very very very sweet! For 6 dollars you can get yourself two meals! Order the Chicken Fingers and Spicy fries, and wash it all down with an Arizona Tea. It is almost impossible to finish this in one sitting, but this isn’t a problem you can save the rest for a snack later on the day! Also did I forget to mention that the staff was sweet?

Pros: The staff seems really nice; polite and attentive. From the outside looking in, the truck looks very clean and orderly. Reasonable prices. This review is based on my few experiences with their breakfast menu: I’ve been there a couple of times to grab breakfast on my way to work. Their breakfast sandwiches are good but nothing spectacular. Today I ordered something different for breakfast — french toast. I have to say that it was not to my liking at all, soggy and very eggy. Also ordered a tea to go and it tasted like really bad coffee… not worth it.

My co-worker RAVES about this place, so I had to check it out with her. I ordered a chicken caesar pita, sweet potato fries, and a green ice tea(3 sugars-don’t judge!) The pita was okay. It was wrapped in whole wheat pita bread(which I have to get used to if I want to eat healthy), tons of lettuce, tomato, grilled chicken, and caesar dressing. The pita was quite dry – so ask for extra dressing if you like sauce like me. The sweet potato fries were disappointing-they were soggy and had no flavor. After eating Ore Ida’s FROZEN sweet potato fries that I made at home last night, Sexy Green Truck’s still wasn’t even as good :-(. The highlight of my lunch was the green ice tea. The description says green tea with hints of mint and orange — it was delish! I’ll definitely be back for that, but a little hesitant to try any more of the food.

This place is always packed from breakfast to lunch and seems to have quite the following. I came here on a recommendation from a classmate after he raved about their farm-fresh eggs, and to be honest, I didn’t really taste much of a difference. The egg sandwich on a longroll didn’t really stand out from any other breakfast offering on campus, unfortunately, and for the price of the sandwich I’d just say you can pick up a whole carton of «farm-fresh» eggs for the same price and make them at home. The same goes for the lunch food I’ve had, really. The burger and gyro didn’t really stand out and seemed to use the same frozen patties and meat you’d find at any other truck on campus. With that said, I don’t really get the hype surrounding this place but I’d say overall it’s a solid choice to get an average to above average meal for a decent price.

Used to come here a lot when I went to Temple. They brew their own tea, source their foods locally and organically. You can get fresh cheap options here if you forget to bring lunch. I would get a pita stuffed with veggies and hummus for like $ 3.50. Also I remember getting really inexpensive peanut butter and banana sandwiches here.

The owner is great, the only thing that keeps me from coming here more often is the line that comes with it. It is a popular stop and is def. worth a go. The simple breakfast sandwich is always a safe best as is the gyro!

I got the same combo I usually get from everywhere(steak and fries). I was surprised to see that we had sweet potato fries on campus. A chica in my class literally told me about the stand a few minutes earlier so I gave it a try. I originally thought it was vegan. Eh. Anyway, the steak was cool and for the price I can dig it. But the fries were TERRIBLE! It tasted like they were microwaved. I took them for a brief walk so maybe they weren’t gonna be all that crisp, but damn these joints were looking like bean sprouts. Oh well, lesson learned. I’m gonna come back and try breakfast next week. She really put me on to something. Not to mention I appreciate the kindness of the woman taking orders. If I could I’d give this spot a 3.5, but I can’t so I’m rounding down for those sweet potato bean sprouts. Oh OH! Best thing of all… $ 1 Arizona tea actually costs $ 1 unlike all the other stands. If you have to raise the price for inflation or whatever I understand, but it’s bad business because it says $ 1 right on the can. Thanks Sexy Green Truck!

They are the kind of people who remember your order everytime you show up. Great food, fresh ingredients, and one of the only healthy options on Temple’s Camus. Unless you get the waffle cheese fries. Seriously, go get the waffle cheese fries.

woo hoo the green truck! I am truly a fan of the green truck. It’s one of the few trucks I will actually go to at Temple(Cha-cha and Eppie’s are the others). Something about trucks doesn’t exactly sit right with West coasters, where we refer to these questionable establishments as the ‘roach coach’, but the green truck is a-ok with me. I love their chicken in their wraps or salads. Their salads are definitely a good choice(#78 roma is my fav). I’ve tried their sweet potato fries and waffle fries and they are both really good too. The people are super nice. The only down side is the wait can be long — go before noon or after 2 and you won’t need to wait more than 5 – 10 mins. Thanks green truck for coming along and brightening up my day of sitting in the dungeon known as Weiss Hall.

Vegetarian and Meat eater friendly food truck on temple’s campus with a delicious variety of foods with the option to get your sandwiches on pitas. They advertise that they use cage-free eggs, local and organic foods. Their prices are decent. The make their own green tea and fries. Their salads a great, they use cut up pitas instead of croutons. Their gyros are tasty and I am a fan of their buffalo chicken pita. It’s always pretty busy, so give yourself at least 10 minutes to wait at times, but it is worth it. They have tables and seats set up outside so you can sit down while you wait. Good alternative to the usual greasy foods you get from all the other trucks on campus and very reasonably priced.
