Business Owner

Root Branch Productions, LLC is owned and operated by President and Executive Producer Vonnya Pettigrew. Ms. Pettigrew has over a decade of experience as a producer, writer, production manager and casting director. Her background in television and video includes networks such as Discovery Communications, TV One, Disney and Starz. In addition, she’s produced for various production companies in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, Philadelphia and New York.



Ms. Pettigrew is a native of Philadelphia, PA. She has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Maryland College Park. She is a graduate of (WEB) Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore, a small business development program for women and minorities and holds a certificate in studio production from Arlington Independent Media. Ms. Pettigrew is a former White House Intern, an award-​winning Distinguished Toastmaster and author of a self-​titled children’s book series.
