Some music played by the DJ is inappropriate for children (e.g. curse words). Place needs to be remodeled. Stricter rules on the rink that is enforced by skating staff. And outside teenagers ask for your wristband to get into the facility without paying. Outside should also be monitored by security.

I don’t understanding why this dirty stinky place exist. On top of that, the staffs are rude. This should be a children place, but it is not children friendly. THE DJ, Security staffs and other staffs are just doing whatever they want. I took my kids here tonight. It was a BIG disappointment. Parents, please do not take your children here.

Ever see the Kanye West meme «Why?» Well that’s what I asked myself when my son’s school gave out free passes to this place for Catholic schools week. Must be the school’s new lesson: to count your many blessings there are better rinks in the city. After standing in a long line at the door, the rude staff member had me sign a waiver (yikes). Standing behind the guy dressed in a hoodie and pajamas pants should’ve let me know what I was in for. I’m glad my son brought his own skates but the rental skates didn’t look too bad here. Don’t get me started on the DJ interrupting the music every few seconds to scold kids and play unorganized games. If she said «valentimes» day one more time I was going to scream. And of course a child was hurt attempting to play the «relay race» (accident waiting to happen). My son had fun with his school friends but after tonight, we’ll continue up the boulevard to the much better rink.

I remember when this was WOW skating… and it still has the same feeling… kinda dingy, kind loud, and mediocre at best. ok so they added some rides inside too… which are broken 2⁄3 of the time. the staff is about as competent as they are literate… not so much in either column. the skates all look like they’re about to fall apart… and they have every right to look like that since they’ve been used since 1972 and the food is grade z crap. there are much better places to go if you wanna have a family skate night or a party.

Today was .99cents to get in and the skates are was $ 3.99 and we are here celebrating my Niece sweet 16th Birthday. And her and her friends aee having a good time. I’m looking at them skating around. It brings back old time when I use to go skating with my sister’s and friends.

This Place provides a fun & simple way to entertain the kids & family for hours at a time. I’ve gone here a few times. My kids love it here! Then again who doesn’t like skating! Lol ;)

Yes, this place is little dated, but are you there to critique it, or have fun? They have phenomenal prices, great music, and a clean skate floor. Also, it’s so inspirational to watch the advanced skaters! They are amazing! I love this place!

My 6 year old daughter ended up with multiple fractures on her wrist because of the uncaring staff at Rolling Thunder.
All you see as part of their staff is cheaply paid teenager workers that have no idea as to how to behave on an emergency situation.
Not only that, older kids, teenagers, are allowed to run around like crazed animals with no regard for smaller children. No one is there to tell these older kids to cool it down.
I would not recommend taking kids to this place. My daughter ended up in the hospital with a full arm cast and when the accident happened this people didn’t even offered ice to help her with the pain.
There were no apologies, no show of concern, NOTHING!

This place is basically a Chuckies Cheese with a roller skating rink. Although I would tell you to go if you like old school roller skating, its really catered to kids so just keep that in mind. I give this place a 2.5 stars… Nothing super special.
