Very nice place– well kept salon for sure. No wait at all Friday night.
VERY nice staff, offered me wine (although it was VERY spoiled and did not drink it, it was a nice touch)
GREAT color selection.
My manicurist was soo sweet but I felt as if it were her first manicure. Steps were skipped or not done well (cuticle cutting, shaping). My manicure was just okay but was not $ 15 worth. My biggest issue was that they do not have UV nail dryers. I had to place my nails in front of a tiny little fan for quite a bit. To me, the UV light is very necessary.

My girlfriend just got back from a manicure and pedicure from this spa and they were incredibly rude and nasty the entire time to her and her friend. They failed to follow simple instructions even when repeated multiple times. I don’t know if they don’t speak an ounce of English and thus the language barrier was a problem or if they were all having a really bad day. If I could award them zero stars I would. I urge every Unilocaler reading this to never ever to to this salon, they will hurt you financially, and emotionally. It’s not worth it. Stay far away.

My girlfriend and I booked an appointment ahead of time. When we got there, we had about an hour wait, while the customers ahead of us took their time AND threw their jackets, scarves, and boots all over the floors and chairs.
While I can’t blame Nail Bar for their rude clients, it would have been nice if they had asked those girls to pick up after themselves.
I couldn’t help but notice that their white customers received service before us (even though we had appointments), and that only white customers were offered wine.
The woman who waxed my girlfriend’s eyebrows also called her a man. So. I don’t think we’ll be back,

I was so pumped when I stepped into this place– nice setting and décor… seemed very clean… Then I sat down and started with my pedicure/​manicure. I opted for the more expensive pedicure that involved a massage, scrub and hot towels.
The girl doing my nails barely used the hot towels and did not massage me at all! I was so upset that I paid more for something I didn’t receive. Then I asked her to go back and fix some spots on my toes that she messed up and she actually rolled her eyes at me and made a rude comment. Then when I asked her to trim my finger nails so they were all even she pointed out a nail that had broken and asked in a very sarcastic way if I wanted her to cut all of my nails off.
Needless to say she didn’t get much of a tip and I’ll never be back. It’s a shame because I was excited this could be my new nail place!

The staff is warm, friendly, and very accommodating. The massage chairs and complementary drinks are a nice touch. The salon is clean and aesthetic without being pretentious. I am usually very picky when it comes to manicures and pedicures, but they did a great job. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back again.

My gel always lasts a minimum of twelve days. A borderline miracle. Sometimes your nails get filed into non uniform shapes, but I’m not sure I can be too picky when I’m in and out with a soak off, glass of wine, in 20 minutes for only $ 25.00. They have a huge selection of colors. Only recommendation: stay away on Fridays, it gets ridiculously crowded.

I waited until day 8 of my manicure from this salon to make my review count. IT HAS NOT CHIPPED AT ALL! What the hell?! What kind of special magic potion are they putting on my nails?! It was a regular, $ 15 non-​gel/​laquer/​whatever manicure that took about 20 minutes and was easy as pie. AND I work in a hospital thus wash my hands 1 980 435 times daily and it STILL didn’t chip! AND I’ve gotten like 2 – 5 compliments a day on my manicure. That was a lot of ANDs.
I’m sure there are several reviews that state the following: «I am not the type to get regular manicures.» Well, the same goes for me. I just don’t do it frequently. Maybe twice a year? I honestly am quite fond of painting my own nails. Reason being the polish inevitably will chip in less than 2 days and if I did the painting myself I, a) won’t feel a grudge about just having paid $$$ for this and b) can touch it up myself if I need to.
This place makes me want to come back every few weeks and become one of those «manicure women,» you know, the ones who have to have their nails done at the salon at all times. I have some friends like this, and never understood. I am starting to. At least with this salon.
$ 15! I feel like it’s at least usually $ 20 in this city, especially for a place that is not in the least bit sketchy. The salon is clean and makes you feel like a pretty-​pretty princess. Sometimes, they will offer you wine/​mimosa/​soda. This has happened to me occasionally but not every time I’ve been to this salon, so not sure what the deal is there, but I’m not mad. You can make an appointment ahead of time, which is probably good for peak times, but I’ve also walked in without issue.
Thanks Nail Lounge, I’ll be back.

I have been a regular at Nail Lounge for over two years now, so figured I should write a review. Snow, the owner, and her staff are wonderful. The salon is very neat and clean, and you definitely get personalized service — it does not feel like a nail factory as some larger nail places can. I always get Shellac manicures and they typically last 2 – 3 weeks. The pedicures are top notch as well.
There aren’t usually a lot of people working, so it might be best to make an appt if you don’t have a lot of time, but I’ve never had more than a few minutes wait.
Oh, almost forgot an important part, a glass of complimentary wine or champagne while getting your nails done? Yes, please!

It was nice, but not worth the price tag.

This place was ok, not great.
My mani wasn’t good– it was sloppy. My eyebrow wax was not good — they were too thin and not very nicely shaped.
The inside is average.
The staff was not very pleasant when I went.

I have visited a number of nail salons in Center City and the surrounding area and been constantly dealing with average customer service. But nail lounge has been beyond amazing. They take their time and very precise. I appreciate when people pay attention to detail. This is by far is the best salon I have been to. You can’t go wrong with the complimentary drink you get with your mani and pedi. They even have a machine that purifies the air of all the fumes of the polish. This an extremely clean environment. I love it.

I left Nail Lounge less than an hour ago and I’m still over the moon-​thrilled with the level of customer service I received today.
Please note that the service here is always excellent, but after the owner took note of my experience last visit they really went out of their way to show that they care about making you feel welcome and well taken care of.
By no means am I a fancy socialite, living the high life on Rittenhouse Square… but I was treated like a princess.
I got just a pedicure today, but can not wait to come back.

The salon is clean, and the ladies who work there are very nice. The pedi was fantastic — they offer a drink and the chairs are fantastic.
My only complaint was sitting at the bar to get the manicure — that was not comfortable after being very relaxed. Next time I’m going to ask to do the mani first.

Very nice setting nail salon, and all of the woman that work there are very friendly, I went here because I heard they did great mani pedi… but BEAWARE they suck at eyebrow waxing. I got my eyebrows waxed here and my eyebrows looked completely different from each other… when I had put this to her attention she just kept reassuring me that eyebrows are not supposed to look exactly the same… yes this I know,…but C’MON they looked COMPLETLY different… was the worse wax I have ever gotten and then was charged $ 12 for that horrible service… if the customer isn’t happy about a job you’ve done it’s your job as a worker to fix it. Don’t tell me that it looks fine when I tell you it doesn’t!

Clean. Quick. Pampered. This is what I look for at a nail salon and I found all three at Nail Lounge. The location is a little bit removed from the Square but that does not minimize the awesome service here. I was quickly offered a complimentary drink (water, juice, wine, champagne, mimosa) as I settled in for my mani/​pedi. I was luckily to have Snow (the owner) to get my mani/​pedi. She was attentive and friendly. The other staff were also nice as my sister also received excellent service. I will be back to get my hands and feet pampered.

This is my new nail spot. Clean, quiet, off the beaten path and friendly.
Their pedicure chairs are phenomenal and the free drink doesn’t hurt either.

I’ve been to Nail Lounge several times and have never been disappointed. Right when you walk in you are greeted with smiles by the friendly owner. It’s extremely clean inside in comparison to most Center City nail salon’s which is great in my book. Nail Lounge has a very relaxing environment. You are also offered either water with lemon, wine, or champagne which is a great touch while you are relaxing. They also have a great selection of magazines to choose from.
They have a large selection of nail polish colors. The pedicure is probably the best one I’ve gotten in the city. The foot/​leg massage lasts a little longer than your average massage which is wonderful and a pedicure usually lasts about a month for me. Manicures are also good as well — although sometimes sitting on a bar stool isn’t as comfortable as sitting in a chair.
Overall this place is great and I will keep coming back!

My BFF and I had a pedicure appointment at a place around the corner, but when we arrived, on of the nail techs had just had to go home because she was ill. We were on a schedule, so we decided to try our luck at another place nearby. Cue Nail Lounge!
The massage chairs here rule, and the free glass of champagne was a nice touch. Seems to be a new trend these days. I can dig it.
The tech was friendly, efficient, and gentle. She did an admirable job on my street-​beaten feet and didn’t even cringe or comment. Bravo, chica. The leg massage and hot towel treatment helped me forget my horrible day and the spicy latin orange on my toes made everything a bit brighter. They even gave me a sweet wrap treatment to keep the polish pristine when I put my shoes back on.
I think it was $ 25 or $ 30 for the pedicure, which is pretty standard. I’ll definitely be back when it’s time for some new polish.

Oh Nail Lounge. Who do you think you are? I was super excited. I’m always looking for a new nail place. I left day by day with a belly full of turkey on croissant goodness and meandered down sansom. I lamented over Noble’s passing. I thought about stopping in to peruse in sophisticated seconds, and then the shiny gleam of a new nail salon caught my eye.
So shiny. So new. So pretty. Essie. Orchids. Candy. COUPON!
I think I had just recently had my nails done, so they gave me a COUPON for my next visit.
PITA comes to town not so often, so generally when she is town we get our nails done every once in awhile. I said oh oh oh oh in the manner of a 4 year old lets go to the new place near village whiskey and when we are done we can get deviled eggs and pickles and fish house punch… yes please can we can we please please please i’ll be good!
Well we stroll on over, and its dead. The girls working out number Pita-​pants and moi. So, I kindly ask if they could maybe bestow the coupon on my unemployed working per diem for peanuts friend. Nope. Okay well what if I pay for both her mani-​pedi and mine. No sorry.
No loss, we’ll just go to any of the other twenty nail salons within a two block radius.
