Chimney Pro Cleaning

Had a technician come and was suppose to do cleaning, sweeping and an inspection of the fireplace. Ended up charging me an additional $ 188 after i already paid for a deal on Living Social for a value of $ 189. The technician was at the house for about 10 min, took my check and left. Very unprofessional, gave me attitude when I asked questions. I will never use their services again. I have a baby and home and the man didnt even check to see if the linear in our chimney was usable. I’m close to suing for their services!

Like other reviews, bought a Living Social Deal. Expiration of deal is 9÷10÷15, made an appt. for mid June. I received a call to reschedule to 5÷28÷15 as they will no longer will be servicing my area after June 1. We moved around our schedules, received the call the day prior… ⁵⁄₂₈ appt. comes and goes, no show, no call. Phoned the office early am, they had no idea the tech didn’t show. Tried to reschedule but also informed them of my discontentment. Wouldn’t reschedule until Manager returned my call. Phoned again that day at 4:45 (suspected they would close at 5:00 for the weekend)… still had no idea why the technician did a no show and Manager unavailable. Told them I expected a call back within 24 hours as I would require a Sunday servicing as Monday was June 1 (no longer allowing service in my area). Still no call.
I have phoned Living Social, they have refunded my money AND gave me a $ 10 credit to my Living Social account. I would not recommend anyone use these services.

I had a similar experience to previous poster. Signed up for Living Social deal for a dryer pipe cleaning. It stated that the coupon was for «six feet» at $ 64.
My appointment got rescheduled multiple times… even though I’d told them original time was fine. I then got daily reminder calls from their office (with attempted time changes)…for no reason since the time was set and I’d already told them other times they proposed wouldn’t work.
On the day of the appointment, the Technician then showed up at a different time (two hours earlier). I happened to be home so that wasn’t the issue. However, the Technician told me that he would not know the final cost until after the job was done since they didn’t know the length of the dryer pipe.
I should point out that my dryer is in the basement and from there to the street level just above is maybe 6 feet. I’ll be generous and say it’s 9 feet. The estimate they gave me is 12 feet. So what’s the game here? It’s bait and switch. No matter what, you’ll be paying more for the service.
In the end, I cancelled the appointment and ate the $ 64. Buyers beware!

I would think that I would have learned my lesson when it comes to purchasing LivingSocial services by this point, but for some reason I gave it another shot. I purchased a voucher for a Full Chimney Cleaning, Sweep and Inspection For Up To 15 Feet. My condo association requires me to have this completed every 2 years, so I thought this would work out fine for my purposes.
Unfortunately, Pro Cleaning Services is not interested in servicing their customers or operating a reputable business. I scheduled an appointment to have the technician come out to perform the service on Monday, ¹²⁄₂₂. When my property manager for my condo required that they provide proof of insurance before letting the technician into my unit, the technician simply left and did not perform the work. I received and email from my property manager informing me that all contractors performing work in the building were required to provide proof of insurance. I then called Pro Cleaning Services to see if they could email or fax over proof of insurance to my condo association so the technician could perform the inspection. I was told by Mike, who is a manager or possibly the owner, that they would not be able to send over proof of insurance until Mid-​January! I responded letting him know that I understand that the holiday season can be very busy, but what was the reason that would cause them a three week delay in sending a piece of paper. Mike told me that their insurance coverage was expiring that week, they had not renewed coverage, and were not planning on doing any chimney work between the 22^nd and sometime in January. They were going to let their insurance coverage lapse, then reapply for insurance sometime in January. He flippantly told me that he had no idea when they could send over the required paperwork or have a technician come back out to perform the service… then told me to «Just get a refund then» before hanging up on me.
This is not a company that I would ever recommend doing work in your home. Even if you can manage dealing with the rude girl who answers the phones (Allie), schedule the appointment, and actually have the technician perform the work… I would never feel confident that these people are on the up-​and-​up, or even have proper insurance in place. I would advise that you stay away.
