Bud’s Auto Repair

I’m from NJ and my car broke down in Philadelphia, causing me to naturally panic since I don’t know any trusted mechanics in PA. I read a review and ended up at Bud’s Auto Repair – it was the best decision I could’ve made. My overheating issue was immediately diagnosed and I watched them do fine work, learning a thing or two myself. The prices for parts and labor fees were very, very reasonable and I would know because I know cars and auto-​parts. Most importantly, the place has been family owned for decades and Bud is an incredible person. Bottom line: these guys are honest people that do honest work. I am very pleased by their service and will most definitely return if I have any future work to be done on my car. Thank you Bud!

I moved to Philadelphia in May of last year. I was worried about getting my car worked on in the city just because of all the horror stories I’ve heard of people over pricing and doing terrible patch jobs. My tire was popped at work, Midas gave me the price of $ 49 to replace a part that was missing. But a friend told me about Bud’s so I decided to go. They worked really fast and did the job for 8 bucks. Then my engine started giving me trouble. I dropped my car off at 8am telling them I need to leave for work by 2pm. They were done by 12pm. Then my radiator hose was leaking. They said normally it would take all day with the amount of work they had, but they knew my work schedule at had it done by 1pm. The price for all the work was $ 100 cheaper than the other places I had quotes from. They work really fast, they’re serious but friendly, and they always call and let me know what prices I’ll be charged before they do any work. I’m getting my car inspected this week by them, and they said that they’ll work as fast as possible and keep the price as low as they can. I love Bud’s and I’ll be going to them as long as I live in the area. I highly recommend them to anyone in Philadelphia.
