Adrienne Dara Hair

I love Adrienne! She cut my hair once before at Deluxe, and of course I stayed with her when she moved. She’s always sweet, professional, and seems to genuinely love her job. At $ 50 for a cut, blow dry, and style I’m very happy. She works with what you want and also offers suggestions to make you look fabulous. And when I leave I feel like a whole new person, my hair looks wonderful and she curls it. I can’t ever recreate the looks myself :) She even has complimentary beer, wine, coffee, tea, and water. And the new salon is so cute and intimate, and the windows offer a nice view of center city.

Adrienne is an artist — not kidding. I usually go to her with a completely vague and indecisive idea about what I want, yet always leave with the most amazingly beautiful hair ever. She has such a knack for picking colors and will give you a balayage that’ll make you cry with happiness and receive compliments for months and months after (I don’t think I actually cried with happiness, but I definitely got TONS of compliments). She is also really flexible and will totally work within the scope of what you want (and your budget!), but will be up front when something definitely will not work (I have needed to be talked out of bangs on multiple occasions).
You can tell she loves her job and it’s so infectious and fun to be around! She’s also highly adorable, incredibly sweet, and has acted as my therapist on several occasions.
ALSO — her new space has beer & wine. Just sayin’.

Love everything about this! Adrienne is the only person I trust to do my hair. It’s always a fun, relaxing experience. I’m so happy she’s got her own space now — makes me feel so fancy going to a private hair appointment!

Adrienne is the first and only hair dresser I’ve seen since moving to Philly over 4 years ago. Her cuts are always perfect and has an eye for the perfect color. And she’s a professional, funny, awesome gal!

The talented and vivacious Adrienne Dara has her own place! She’s so good that a haircut from her lasted almost a year! (clearly she’s not making her fortune on me) And color! Babylights, balayage, hair painting, ombré, whatever you want to call it, she does it. And crazy color too. I just mucked up all her new towels with my bright blue dye job :) It’s a sweet little space, just her, a chair, a sink and a mini fridge. It’s a great place for a great stylist.
