Thank you for the review, I am looking to get accents put on my mustang like finder strips, spoiler and hood modified, will continue to shop around

I learned about this shop through the local car club community. I had a 2008 Corvette that needed paint correction mostly very light scratches in the clear coat over most of the car. One area around the rear hatch was in worse shape and needed more work. I left my car with the owner and we agreed on a price for paint correction. We agreed I would inspect the car after paint correction was done and we would most likely proceed with 2^nd stage polish and opticoat. After 2 weeks owner called and said car was ready for inspection. The rear hatch area looked great but the rest of the car still had light scratches in the clear coat. I could not tell he had worked on any area other than the rear hatch. He told me he did and for the price we had agreed on he said he had already lost money. I told him I wanted the whole car finished and we renegotiated on price to complete the paint correction, do a 2^nd stage polish and then apply opticoat permanent coating. The second agreed on price was more than 3 times the original quoted price when I dropped the car off. I was ok with that if it all got done and it looked good. 1 more week went by and no progress on my car. The 4^th week he had my car I started really pushing to get my car done. Right at 4 weeks the owner finally got frustrated and told me he was done I could come pick up my car. I had already paid half the last agreed on price. What I got was a car with 1^st stage paint correction done but not the other 2 items we agreed on. The shop owner felt he had put more work than that into the car already. I would suggest if that is true the owner might find another line of work. The shop owner acted immaturely and gave me back my car after 1 month with only part of the job done. He wasn’t happy and I certainly wasn’t happy. He quit before finishing the job that we agreed on. Bottom line is it took way too long and cost too much according to several other detailers in the area. He didn’t finish the job and acted very immaturely. I do not understand how people think they can be successful running a business in that fashion. I will never use Street Image again and I certainly will not recommend the shop to people I talk to. Very unsatisfied overall.
