Southern’s Fine Dining can coordinate all aspects of your event’s dining experience, including menu creation, service and food station staffing, cake cutting, bar services, and rental of place settings and service ware. We are closely partnered with Central Texas-area venues, planners, and suppliers.

Chef Steve Southern has 30 years of industry experience. Chef Southern’s distinguished career includes leadership positions at restaurants and hotels throughout Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio, including the reinvention and re-establishment of industry’s finest: Huntington’s Restaurant, Westin Hotel Galleria, Dallas; Cascabel, Sheraton Fiesta Hotel, San Antonio; Tequila Charlie’s Seafood Kitchen, San Antonio; eatZi’s Market and Bakery, Dallas and New York; Culinaire International, Embassy Suites Park Central, Dallas; Iron Cactus, Dallas/Austin/San Antonio/Hill Country Galleria.
Chef Southern is a member of both the Texas Chefs Association and the American Culinary Federation, and in his spare time enjoys traveling internationally via airplane and locally via motorcycle. Chef and Mrs. Southern make their home in Austin, Texas.
