Don’t waste your time with their online appointment setting system. I took off of work early, arrived, and was told it was going to be a 1 ½ hour wait. No thanks.

We normally visit the Firestone off of Limestone/​685 but alas this location claimed they could do an alignment on my husbands BMW while Limestone said they could only «partially» balance it– not sure what that’s all about but okay. We always buy the lifetime alignment– why? Because a regular alignment runs around $ 60-​$ 70 while a lifetime alignment runs $ 110 or so (depending on coupons). Two alignments and it’s more than paid for itself.
Anyway we drop off his car which was pulling a teeny tiny bit to the right. Two hours later we get a call that a huge list (over 2 pages worth!) of parts need to be replaced because the front end is going out and blah blah blah. Then he also says the drivers tire was low which was why the car was pulling to the right… yeah because that makes sense– I even know better than that (moron!)
My husband is pretty mechanically savy, so he asks how much it would be to replace these parts– over $ 2000! What?! My husband then tells him to just go ahead and align it and he will personally replace these parts. The service manager says there’s no point it will just go out of whack and once you fix it you will have to realign it anyway. My husband reminds him he’s getting the lifetime alignment so it shouldn’t matter should it? The manager says okay no problem.
A red flag is thrown at this point because if the front end was really as bad as he was making it out to be shouldn’t it not even be able to be aligned in the first place? Anyway we get the car aligned and it drives straight. We bought the parts to fix it but haven’t gotten a chance to yet. Oh and we’ve put over 2500 miles on it since getting it aligned and no problems. just saying they aligned the car great but they seem to be out for repair $$$.

DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION.
We have been going to various Firestone locations as a family for over25 years. We USE to like this location, but now have had 3 REALLY bad experiences back to back. They lie about how much items cost (quoting one price, and then another price later the same day for the same car) and they charge more than another location just a few miles away. I’m also convinced that they don’t completely fill your oil every time and I know for a fact that they do not fill your wiper fluid even when they say they will. See below for full stories.
1) My mother’s car needed an oil change and they told my dad that it would cost 8 dollars more than it always has before (normally about 30 dollars, and they were charging almost 38). He asked 2 different people 3 different times why the price was different and they said their prices had gone up. My dad also had 30 dollars in coupons (because he has a firestone credit card and they send coupons in the mail). So he paid almost 8 dollars for the service. My mother was suspicious, so that same night she called and asked how much it would cost to get an oil change (pretending she hadn’t just had one done) and they said it would cost her 30 dollars. At that point she told them what had happened earlier that day. They THEN tried to tell her that she only had 12 dollars in coupons and THAT was why she had to pay 8 dollars. When they realized that she wasn’t going to fall for that lie, they finally agreed to credit her card the balance. When I personally went back to look at her receipt I realized that when they rang her up they didn’t show the coupons applied, they had applied different discounts, and I think they did it so they could keep the coupons for their own use. The main person we dealt with on this occasion that gave us trouble was Denton.
2) My father has taken his truck to this location for 2 of his last 3 oil changes and they told him it costs about 38 because it takes an extra quart to fill. The last time he did his oil change he took it to the location on 685 and they only charged him about 31. Even if this isn’t someone trying to get one over on us, if there 2 locations with different prices, I’ll always go with the location that is cheaper. Especially since we haven’t had any issues with customer service at 685.
3) My father recently had to buy his own oil at a gas station because his low oil light came on. We have since had the truck checked and nothing is wrong with the truck. It had been about 2 months since his last oil change at this location and it makes me think that what they do is only put enough to show that the oil is «full» but they don’t fill it all the way the way other locations do.
4) I have on MULTIPLE locations had to buy my own wiper fluid even though they say they fill it every time I get an oil change here. I had a Firestone off Anderson Lane AND another garage check my windshield wiper fluid container and they both say nothing is wrong with it. This tells me that this location isn’t filling it, even when I specifically tell them they have forgotten in the past and need to make sure they do it this time. If they aren’t going to do it, fine, just let me know so I can be prepared and know I have to do it myself instead of having to stop when I’m busy because I can’t see out of my windshield.
Bottom line — I DO NOT TRUST this location.

The Firestone in Pflugerville on I-​35 is the best I have ever been to. I had an issue with the work done at a different Firestone location, and the Pflugerville shop fixed the issue. Brandon Laird at the Pflugerville shop was very knowledgeable and helpful. He knew exactly what my car needed and did not waste any time providing excellent service.
I would recommend this store location to anyone looking for top-​notch service from a courteous and professional staff.

I’ve been Firestone customer for years. Growing up, it was the shop my father generally took us to so Firestone was where I first started going for my own car maintenance. And over the years I began to recognize that each Firestone carries with it its own reputation. While my father had built up a rapport with the local shop in my hometown, not every care center operated with the same integrity.
Lately, I have been taking my Stratus for routine maintenance this Firestone location and have had nothing but positive experiences. My last visit, this past Saturday, was for an oil change and I was hospitably greeted upon arrival. They also had a routine inspection on sale for $ 10 and I had them look things over because I was afraid I might be out of alignment and for the money (as opposed to the usual $ 20-​$ 30) I figured why not. I was fully prepared to have them come back with a laundry list of things I «had» to have fixed, but they actually reported a clean bill of health. Told me my car was in good shape and offered «suggestions» making it very clear that they were just that — neither mandatory nor necessary, and based solely on my mileage. I appreciate that because one thing I can’t stand is when mechanics try to hustle more money out of a customer by insinuating urgency. And that speaks volumes to me about the integrity of the shop.
I also noticed they had recently undergone some renovations so the environment had nice aesthetics. BONUS: not only did they have the usual coffee available for customers, but they also provided SHIPLEY’S DONUTS! Now… where I grew up Shipley’s was king so I was very delighted to see that. I don’t know if it was a one time thing or a regular offering, but I’d say that in part is worth the visit. That gesture also spoke to me, on a sevice level, of how far they were willing to go to provide a positive experience for the customer.
I also monitored their interactions with other customers and they seemed to address and manage everything with candor and straight-​talk — as in they made sure everything was thoroughly explained — clear and candid.
If you’re going to go to a Firestone and are in the area (or close) I’d make the trip to this location. (I actually heard a guy there who usually goes to Firestone in Round Rock at this Pflugerville shop because of the reputation it had).
