Unreliable. Didn’t do full service and state inspection as scheduled. What a pain. Drive to North Austin and leave your vehicle for the day to service only to find out they didn’t get to some items or just didn’t do what was promised. Save yourself the headache and frustration … go elsewhere.

After receiving an estimate from one of their competitors for front wheel bearings I went to Purcell. My first impression was that they weren’t nearly as friendly. That’s okay. I was there for hopefully a better (lower) estimate. They quickly diagnosed the issue and gave me an estimate. Purcells ESTIMATE WAS $ 700.00 higher! I said I couldn’t possibly do that. He then whipped out a bill for the estimate. $ 28.00. MY FIRST ESTIMATE WAS FREE! At least I know who’s NOT going to work on my truck in the future.
